Maui United Way hosts golf tournament to support resilience, recovery

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Maui United Way went to the golf course to help raise funds for disaster relief.

Their annual golf tournament at the Wailea Blue Golf Course hosted community leaders, businesses and other organizations.

The day included on-course contests, prizes and other opportunities to support their Maui Nui Reslience and Emergency Response Fund.

The fund supports residents on Maui, Molokai and Lanai impacted by disasters such as the recent Kona low storms, which brought flooding and wind damage. It also helps sustain nonprofits that provide relief food and essential supplies.

Donations can be accepted online here.

Organizers said all donations are 100% tax deductible.
