In this golf vlog, we head out onto the course for a competitive match filled with pressure shots, unexpected moments, and real on-course strategy. I genuinely didn’t expect him to play like this.

If you’re looking to improve your golf game, lower your scores, and learn from real match play situations, this is one you don’t want to miss.

  1. Cross field the ultimate matchplayer. All that practice goading coach lockey in Spain and Portugal paid off 🙂🙂🙂

  2. Mark stiffing it out of the bunker is a total soul stealer lol. Also – may have seen Mark's f-bomb on Youtube.

  3. I wish Crossfield was in the states. Love his progression. It would be great to take lessons from him.

  4. Ugh, playing these guys in winter league pair's!! Walking in on the 10th every time 😂😂 good golf, man, and shows why everyone loves the game! Great banter😊

  5. sorry Alex but the more I watch you play the more convinced I am that you will NOT qualify for the Open or DP World Tour. If you can't make very makeable putts (holes 2, 3 & 8) when there's no real pressure, you're ZERO chance when you're under real pressure to make them. The big thing I've noticed with your putting is that when you putt first you make way more putts, BUT as soon as you're putting second and need to make a putt you miss the majority of the them. I've caddied for players on +5 hcps at both Open qualifying & Q school, who didn't even get close to qualifying for either, not because they didn't have the game, but because they didn't have the 90% between the ears.

Also, I can't determine whether you're playing from the championship plates or not. It doesn't appear so. So that's anothe reason you can't use these games as a true indication of where your game is at. Start playing these matches as STROKE play, not match play, and play from the back markers. Open qualifying and Q school wiil NOT be from forward or mid tees and it will NOT be match play.

As I said in previous comments, you appear to have the game, most of the time, but the biggest flaw I see with you in these practice rounds is your mental approach. To put it simply it's all wrong, especially when you're putting second. This game is 90% mental & 10% ability, your approach appears to be 50-50. You'll never achieve your objective with this mental approach.

  6. Players cannot sleep on Mark’s game, he is a pretty proficient player. No one aspect of his game will wow you like you have witnessed greatness. But he is good at all aspects with manageable error and that is the sneaky part.

  7. Alex if your wearing the Jordan jump man hat you have to pair it with a pair of Jordan golf spikes mate come on. Also knew both of you would be short hitting six iron from 200 yards into an elevated green. Thats why I carry a 9 wood

  8. Love Delamere, had my best finish in the British Mid Am there many moons ago. Final round 68, -3 for the last 4 holes. Could of sold that finish 😅😅 still a top ten 💪

  9. Next time I'm on the course …

180 to the pin, should I take a chippy 8 or a chippy 9, maybe a chippy 3 wood or a chippy 5 iron then I'll chippy it to the chippy green then I'll use my chippy putter for a chippy 10 footer then onto the next whole where I might take a chippy 6 or a chippy 7 …
    🙄

  10. You both called it but best players score each hile would be breaking Delameres course record 😂😂😂😂
You 2 need to play again down Mark's way

  11. @7:22 can completely relate. The tee shot seems like a weird angle, and then setup/alignment gets thrown way off and you end up taking a super weird/uncomfortable swing
