You’re using the wrong tee height. 💣

68% of golfers do. And it’s costing you up to 20 yards per drive. 📉

Driver baseline: 50/50 rule. Half the ball visible above the crown, half below. That’s 3.5 inch tees for modern 460cc drivers. 🎯

But here’s where it gets interesting: 📊

If you have a steeper attack angle (hitting down on driver), tee down to 40-45% ball visible. About 3 inches. ⬇️

If you have a shallower attack angle (hitting up on driver), tee up to 55-60% ball visible. About 4 inches. ⬆️

Why does this work? ✅

Teeing lower will naturally make your attack angle steeper. Your body adjusts to get down to the ball. Spine tilts more. Shoulders turn on a steeper plane. Club approaches on a more downward path. 💯

Teeing higher will naturally make your attack angle shallower. You stand more upright. Spine tilts less. Shoulders turn flatter. Club approaches on a more upward path. 🏌️

The wrong tee height costs you distance: ❌

Too low (25% ball visible): 8.2° launch, 3,800 RPM spin, sky marks on crown, -17 to -20 yards lost. 📉

Too high (75%+ ball visible): 17° launch, 1,900 RPM spin, weak contact low on face, -8 to -10 yards lost. 📉

Optimal (50% ball visible): 12.3° launch, 2,600 RPM spin, centre face contact, maximum carry distance. ✅
