I currently have a Net Return Pro 8 with the side barriers and have been contemplating going more of a dedicated sim route. Just curious if there is any sort of market for a very gently used Net Return that's always been inside in my basement – or if maybe I'd be further ahead just getting the add on screen they offer and doing it that way. I plan to get dedicated hitting area – either a Carls Place Hot Shot or Sig Pro Softy and moving the existing turf up against the wall behind the net (there's about 2-3 feet there).
Attached are some shots of my space I use for the current setup. The Turf is 6 x 10' that came with the Net Return package I got from Playbetter with the launch monitor – it's on 1" foam gym squares and I have 9 feet to the floor joists above (haven't hit them yet – I'm about 5'-10"). I use a Rapsodo MLM2Pro and have about 7 feet from it to the ball and another 8 feet from ball to net.
I'd appreciate any suggestions on the best way to possibly go the sim route for the least money – or opinions on if I'd hate using the Net Return Screen vs a dedicated sim box if there's anyone that did the same and regret it. I do have a decent gaming laptop with a core ultra 9 series 2 with 32gb ram and a geforce rtx 5070 ti graphics card I could use, as I was considering a GS Pro sub too, so that would also lead to me also needing a projector of some sort – which I have zero clue about.
Just looking for suggestions I guess. Thanks.
