The PGA Tour schedule continues with the 2026 Players Championship beginning on Thursday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Best known for its “Island Green” No. 17 hole, TPC Sawgrass attracts virtually all the top players on tour as this event has a $25 million purse and functions as one of the top non-majors on the schedule.

The latest 2026 Players Championship odds via FanDuel Sportsbook list Scottie Scheffler as the +340 favorite, with Rory McIlory next on the PGA odds board at +1100. Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa, all at +2200, are the only other golfers going off lower than +3000.

Before locking in any 2026 Players Championship picks, you NEED to see the golf prediction and projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, simulates every PGA Tour tournament 10,000 times, and has a lengthy history of being extremely profitable.

Now, with the 2026 Players Championship field locked in, SportsLine simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were surprising.

One major surprise the model is calling for this week: Schauffele, one of the top favorites, barely cracks the projected top 10! He’s a golfer to fade. Another surprise: Ludvig Aberg makes a run at the title, even though he’s a +3000 longshot! He’s a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday!

The model is also targeting four other longshots of +3000 or higher to make a run for the top of the leaderboard! Anyone who backs this golfer could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY NEED to see who they are before locking in any PGA picks!
