Just got a deal on 4’x6’ rubber mats. Next the turf and the roll up screen (already have the impact screen).

My wife is just shaking her head at me. LOL 😂

I also used stall mats in my garage for a sim. I know they are heavy and feel like they shouldn’t move around… But they will. I ended up anchoring them to the concrete with tapcon screws but there might be a less permanent solution if that isn’t in the cards for you.

If they’re new and stink, a bath with diluted simple green and some time in the sun (like a day or two) will help them off-gas quicker. I also taped the seams black gorilla tape to keep them from moving around.

Are you doing turf over the whole thing? I have my hitting mat and a narrow strip of scrap putting turf that goes to the screen, but I’m considering ordering a roll and doing the whole thing.

wait till she hears “thud” every few minutes for hours on end, lol. Worth it though, having a sim is a blast.
