DALY CITY, Calif. – The No. 10 Pepperdine men’s golf team is back in action tomorrow, March 9, and Tuesday, March 10, at The Desimone Invitational in Daly City, California. The event is hosted by Cal and features 15 squads, including 10 ranked teams (three in the top-10).
The Invitational features three rounds of stroke play on the par-72 course at Lake Merced Golf Club. Teams will compete in two rounds on Monday, totaling 36 holes, before wrapping up the event on Tuesday with 18 more holes.

Play will begin at 8:45 a.m. PT each day with 21 different groups teeing off of each different hole. Holes eight, 14, and 18 have two different groups.
Pepperdine was most recently at the Southern Highlands Intercollegiate in Las Vegas. Despite a challenging three days for the Waves, senior Mahanth Churravuri led the navy blue and orange with an eighth-place finish overall. He completed the tournament four under par, while teammate Willy Walsh placed 26th with a two-over-par. In this week’s PGA Tour University national player rankings, Churravuri is ranked seventh, while senior counterpart Brady Siravo slots in at No. 20.

The Waves will wrap up the Desimone Invitational on Tuesday, starting at 8:30am, before setting sights on the Valspar Intercollegiate Invitational in Palm City, Florida from March 23-24.
