Jon Rahm secured victory at the LIV Golf event in Hong Kong with an impressive final-round score of 64. The Spaniard finished at 23 under par, defeating Belgium’s Thomas Detry, who ended the tournament in second place at 20 under.

According to BBC News, Rahm’s victory was significant as he played a crucial role in facilitating Detry’s participation in the tournament. Rahm arranged for a private jet to fly eight LIV players out of the Middle East, allowing Detry to compete in Hong Kong.

Entering the final round tied for the lead at 17 under, Rahm demonstrated his skill with eight birdies and two bogeys. Detry, who carded a 67, finished strong but could not catch Rahm. Thomas Pieters took third place at 19 under after a final-round score of 66, while Harold Varner III placed fourth with a score of 18 under.

This victory marks Rahm’s third win in the LIV Golf series and his first title since 2023, showcasing his consistent performance throughout the tournament.
