  1. Looks like Sergio was leaving his chest totally closed as he pulled the chain. Can you elaborate on that a little bit. I like the concept, used to tell myself to crunch my right side or obliques instead of this chain idea. Thanks for your interesting videos!

  2. Ooooh.. I'm going to have to disagree.. you're right about the FIRST part imho.. but DEFINITELY not the SECOND… but I'm not trying to be a 🐓.. as in my experience.. you're adding so much resisting force.. it's too hard (and gets harder).. the HARDER you pull.. as the more resisting force you get.. his "down".. HAS to be?.. more like down the spine angle to Negate that potential force against it.. i PERSONALLY don't prescribe to pulling down.. UNLESS?.. it's done in a more backwards manner.. yet doesn't get "stuck" behind at the same time… And there's the rub.. but AGAIN.. i DON'T agree with "pull" in certain terms.. but it's tricky to explain.. so I'll give up on this now.. but "pulling" per se?.. is misleading.. THAT'S all I'll say..

  3. Pulling a heavy chain would also slightly rotate your hips and shoulders away from the target for a split second (or you actively resist it), does this fit with the concept of 'starting your downswing slightly before you finish your back swing rotation' ?

  4. You want to drop the club without going over the top, just ULNAR deviate your wrist and swing. This is to set you up on plane. No pulling stuffs going on. The hands is always the culprit of all bad moves.Take the hands out and swing with upper arm.

  5. This is one of the few times I disagree with one of these videos. Forget about a heavy weight. Relax the muscles in your arms and shoulders and allow them to drop the way gravity makes things fall, with constant acceleration.

Point the butt of the club at the ball and feel like you are keeping your back to the target. This will put you on plane every time and makes coming over the top impossible. The relaxation of the arms and shoulders, rather than the muscling shown here, is what creates the clubhead speed.

  6. I’ve now seen 2 reels by this page owner. I gave a follow after the first video because I like how this guy conceptualizes things. Breaks it down pretty simply. Looking forward to actually watching some lessons at length. I think I found my teacher 💪🏼

  7. Not everyone workouts or understands what this means.. HOWEVER everyone does understand what hands in your pockets means.. so right elbow to your shirt seem on your ribs and your hands to your pockets.. simple.

  8. Greg. Another great video. I watch them all. Although I can't see why you need the background "music". It's just a distraction. Haven't heard THAT before from you. We don't come here to hear that, we come to hear YOUR pearls of wisdom 😉

  9. Getting on plane is the first thing a beginner should learn, then everything will come easier. The problem is that they are taught to build the house from the roof.

  10. My feel to begin the downswing with driver is "Down AND back with force." This gets the shaft shallowed correctly and it signals to the pelvis that it needs to rotate hard or the club will crash behind. For irons its the same except the "And back" part gets removed to maximize low point control.

  11. Thank you, sir. This is one of the best explanations. It makes sense now I can see it in my mind how it should be done and as the Left Hand 🏌️ I appreciate this thank you.

  12. You have a pattern of reframing people’s explanations to fit your narrative, often adding points that were never actually stated. Classic strawman, which seems to be your MO.
