I boat flipped a 9.34lb that was coming in HOT with her mouth wide open towards the boat with me winching as fast as I could and her swimming trying to get enough line slack to come up and head shake the triple grip out that pinned her up after she inhaled the big 10" soft swimbait. Ive seen over 25 elite events live and worked the expos at quite a few. Pasqotank river was the best one I've ever been to. Glad we're going back in 2026. Coming in a couple months later its gonna be a SMASHFEST
Are we even fishing anymore? I see day in and day out we’ve become more addicted to screens, now we’ve brought them to the waters. A sacred place to get away from the screens and peace of mind. This is not fishing anymore all the advantages in the world put the fish at a disadvantage. That used to be the benefit and excitement of fishing because the fish had the advantage as anglers we had to try and outsmart them. We used to have more respect for our fish and our fisheries. Now days it’s more virtual reality “fishing” than actual angler smarts and knowledge.

That was awesome and very close. I mean it goes both ways he could have tried to lip or grab it and she could've come off. You just never know till it's in the boat lol
