UK golf retailer Scottsdale Golf has partnered with golf marketing and creative agency The Loop to launch SGTV, a new long-form YouTube content channel created to bring the latest equipment stories to life while introducing golfers to the people and innovation shaping the modern game.

Designed to deliver depth, authenticity and genuine access, SGTV will be a fortnightly show that goes behind the scenes of the world’s most influential golf brands, showcasing breakthrough products while exploring how modern equipment is designed, engineered and launched.

With Scottsdale Birmingham serving as the hub of the series, presenters Sam Jones and Alysia Patel will travel globally in search of the game’s most compelling stories. From innovation centres and tour insights to product launches and fitting studios, SGTV provides golfers with an unprecedented look inside the world of golf equipment.

The series has been built with the modern golfer in mind. Integrated shoppable links throughout each episode allow viewers to seamlessly purchase the products that capture their attention via the Scottsdale website, or book a fitting at one of Scottsdale’s industry-leading retail locations.

Episode one sets the tone with a deep dive into new offerings from Ping and Under Armour, alongside a driver custom-fitting for special guest Gaz Beadle, offering rare insight into the five-star fitting experience at Scottsdale.

The debut episode also features exclusive brand access and expert commentary, establishing the programme as essential viewing for golfers seeking a deeper understanding of the technology behind their game.

In addition to the main fortnightly episodes, extended long-form conversations will also be released, giving viewers the opportunity to go deeper than ever into the latest equipment and hear directly from the designers, engineers and brand leaders driving performance forward.

Lee Duff, CEO of Scottsdale Golf, said: “We are incredibly excited to launch SGTV and bring something genuinely innovative to the golf media space. Golfers are more informed and more curious about equipment than ever before, and this series allows us to deliver the access, expertise and production quality that golfers deserve. Partnering with The Loop ensures we can tell these stories in a way that is both entertaining and insightful.”

Mike Harris, Partner at The Loop, added: “Storytelling sits at the absolute heart of everything we do at The Loop. Working with a partner in Scottsdale that not only shares that belief but also has an audience capable of superpowering that storytelling is hugely exciting. SGTV gives us a platform to shine a light on the craftsmanship, innovation and personalities that make the golf industry so fascinating.”
