  1. Watching these guys at Oakmont makes me feel better about the 9 strokes it took me to get out of the rough at my local mini-golf. 😂 Anyone else getting flashbacks to when Tiger missed the cut? Is 2025 the year of shock upsets again, or are we just watching short game wizards save par like it’s a Marvel movie?

  2. This course looks pretty easy. It's so perfectly groomed to (looks quite beautiful) that draining putts and staking irons seems to be a default given for anyone teeing off there. The only strokes thrown away, as usual, are on the greens. Surely somebody should be able to shoot 4 65's out there with relative ease.

    Thanks 😊

  3. People always come out with guns ablazin, but then.. Rounds 2,3,& the final Round happens.. annnnd…. They fade away

  4. The USGA implements set rules on so much of the game, ball, and clubs, why not lofts on clubs? Bryson has a 17 or 19 deg "5" iron. 40deg "pw". Why not set specific loft angles to limit the distance a little bit.

  5. Great decision to air early portion of Round 2 on Peacock. Viewers got to see world No 1 Scottie Scheffler for exactly…one hole.

  6. How can anyone stand to watch the US Open anymore? Why don't the just lay down a piece of glass for the greens? Or cement them… It's a joke.

  7. Not a fan of this U.S. Open course — it’s way overrated. Sure, it’s tough, but it’s also just plain ugly. There’s a freeway running through it, no trees in sight (they cut them all down), and it lacks any real character. Honestly, it’s not that fun to watch when so much of the outcome seems to come down to luck instead of skill.

  8. Hitting the ball a long ways doesn’t do any good if you have a hard time hitting the fairway and if you can’t hit the green from the fairway then long distance also doesn’t mean much. DeChambeau has won the open twice but that had nothing to do with this tournament. How did the change Thomas made work out fo him—probably the fault of the caddie so will Thomas move to another caddie after the open is over
