Wish my lab putter worked like that
Very happy for JJ
Such an awesome finish.
I think I said “WOW!!” like 6 or 7 times back-to-back.
This should serve as the epitome of why you MUST put your full focus on the shot you are currently working on, and not letting those ripples from any recent adversity creep-into that moment you’re in now.
No one would have thought any less of Spaun had he just faded away and remained in the middle of that large grouping that was just a little too far behind with too few holes left. The US Open almost always turns into the ultimate “grinder test” for the 5-10 guys who have a chance.
And it’s always the guy who fully-embraces the grind and is undeterred by a couple unsavory bogeys and is able to hold onto an extra shot or two down the stretch who usually wins.
One thing that I think many players in US Opens forget to realize is that I think they fall into that “normal way of thinking” where they are looking at their current position at any given point compared to where the leaders are at, and they make the calculation of how realistic it really is to catch the leaders who are 5 shots ahead and you’ve only got 5 holes left to play. Where, typically, those leaders are going to usually remain where they are or go lower. But that thinking does not apply in a U.S. Open. You “could” be 5 back with 5 to play but REALLY be only 2 back for all you know? Because it is VERY VERY often the case that the winner is over par on the last 6-7 holes of a U.S. Open. Where they “hang on” for the victory. So when those players think they really don’t have a chance, they should add 3 strokes to the leaders so it keeps their head more in a winning-grind-mode.
How can you not be romantic about golf
I was amazed the putt went in.
Aw shit. You know you’re getting old when you watching golf clips on YouTube. Where does the time go 😂😭😭
What a putt.. he had to start it a out 10-12feet to the left and the cup and what a read .. what a nice stroke… right on line. Beauty putt to win the u.s open… this will go down in history as one of the best endings to a major
My favorite time in any sport is when the winner takes the victory instead of a competitor giving it away. Absolutely epic performance in the biggest moment on the biggest stage.
Outside of Tiger Woods in 2000 coming out of a bunker at the Canadian Open, Jack Nicklaus in 2016 Senior Open putt which wasn't under any sort of real pressure, and my dad calling a shot hitting someone on the green 😂 this is the greatest golf shot I've ever seen.
Good catch hole…That was a prayer with pace. Hole answered. Amen.
History!🎉🎉🎉
This is epic
Fruity ahh, put the umbrella down for a second.. Kinda sold the clip!
Lucky it hit the flag
I am so grateful I was there! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!🇺🇲❤🇺🇲
Who were those two dudes hugging right after on the sideline????
Wow, Amazing. Good for him.

Best ending to a US Open win. Congrats to him! This was so cool to watch. He owes Viktor a fruit basket though. Haha
I visited my parents that weekend, and even my non-sports fan mom went crazy after this. lol
"How…about…ONE!" Is a pretty good announcing call!
Oakmont is deemed the toughest course in the world!
Probably the best putt I have ever seen in my life.
We've seen some bomb putts through the years but that is one to remember.
I’ll be watching this 10 times per year for decades……
That’s a hell of a statement
The last two US Opens have ended with incredible shots!!!
Goes from hitting it into the drink to lose the Travelers title to winning the US Open. Thats keeping your head up
Great footage
Un. Real. !
Top 5 US Open shot/putt
If this doesn’t bring a tear to your eye you’re not a golfer
It was sick
The absolute dream
Goosebumps, every time!
Yes, I am still young, but this was the best winning moment in professional golf I have ever witnessed with my own eyes
Sometimes I feel like the wags have no idea what is going on but cheer and laugh because everyone else is
Simply one of the greatest wins ever. He got it done on debatably the hardest course in PGA history.
one for us 📚 what a 2025 !! 🚪 Rory – Scottie – jj 🗓️🔎🔍🔎🔍🔎🔍🔎🔍🚀
Start of the season, I'm kind of rooting against this guy as I'm a Rory-bobo….but at this US Open, how could anyone be against this fella! What a story!
That’s DF3 magic
Just incredible. Chills!!
Seemed like perfect speed, but when you watch it a few times I think you will feel that he was going to have a serious knee-knocker coming back. Maybe four, or possibly five feet.
