Seems like this is a pick and choise situation. The PGA Tour needs to figure this out! Stubborn old men still in control. We are in a new era of social media. I didn't like Bryson much till i started watching his content early on. PGA Tour needs to make things exciting again. Its all about majors and has been. A lot of the tour stops are stale. I like Liv and the pga tour. I love golf ⛳️.

The PGA tour(s) issue with the content is that they do not get $$$$ for the NIL from the content of the creators…. The pga tour owns the nil contracts for there players meaning the get a cut of all revenue pga players get.. unfortunately the pga tour “owns” the players

Obviously every punishment isn’t going to be in the handbook. I hate what happened to Wesley just as much as everyone else but as you said he did knowingly do what he did. So in my opinion, there is no reason in whining about it now. I also think that as long as everyone is pressuring the PGA Tour to bring Wesley back the more they are not going to. Let everyone forget about it and then they will let him back.
Great video but you COMPLETELY skipped over he’s TRIED to get an appeal but they won’t even sit down with him to let him argue his case!!! He said he read the rules before participating too and you completely skipped over those two major points that should have been addressed or at least highlighted.

Mr short game, you should of read from the 2025 handbook when this took place. They revised alot of the 2026 handbook for more clarity.
If the rule is wrong then the rule is the problem.

The PGA is garbage, end this silly suspension of Wesley you made your point so move on, is it that important that you put your boot on the neck of his PGA career to make a point, I don't watch the tour anymore because honestly I find I'd quite boring, I enjoy watching Wesley and George doing there content far more than watching tour events because it's honest clean fun entertainment , those two and Grant Horvath have grown the game bringing in more new fans than the PGA could ever accomplish in my opinion, the PGA would do well to realize this but they are to stale and to proud to realize a good thing when they see it.
That handbook quote does not pertain to Wesley as he was suspended under the old book.
I appreciate the deep dive, but – unless I missed something the rule is crystal clear. You need to get approval. If Wiley has asked they certainly would have said no and he likely would have skipped it – allowing George to rep Bryan Bro’s alone.
Not only that, he did events with LIV. That’s crazy to think you could do that.
Bottom line (IMHO) – get approval from the Tour before you do something. How can that hurt? If it’s “no big deal”, they’ll approve. If it is “a big deal” then you’re lucky you got ahead of it.
The PGA Tour is any golfer’s dream. Why mess with that?

I don't understand why everyone is so upset. Wesley doesn't have a tour card and isn't good enough to get one. You can't really fire someone who doesn't even really work for you.
That said, what did he think was going to happen when he basically helped make a commercial for the competition? I like the Bryan Bros, but this is a bunch of drama for nothing. I guess it will help them get more eyes on their stuff, though.
As an independent contractor in a different field, it blows my mind that a business would deny a contractor the right to do other work.
Gave up on the pga when this whole LIV beef started cause if I got offered a job but I can work less and get paid more…that’s a no brainer

Another easy example of how pga is hypocritcal…grant horvat has played against several pga members in his start under 5 series, JT, Finau, Fleetwood, Scotty, plus others.
The only way wesley can win his case is to spend some legal money and sue to pga for infringing on NIL rights…this reminds me of how NCAA had to change. The question would be, if one is a "golfer", is "playing golf" also part of his name, image and likeness…
I am wondering if PGA players/members are now becoming employees as they put more and more restrictions on the who, what, when and what they can't do outside of the PGA tour.

PGA killed themselves in my opinion. In the past, I'd watch every tournament… Then that became I'd watch every tournament Tiger played in… Now I barely watch the Majors or any tournament. The PGA killed itself

Personally I watch the PGA when I want a nap. Wesley needs to stop worrying about the PGA and their rules. Spilt milk is just that. He is better off personally and financially living his life as he is. Corporate golf is doing more to hurt itself than to help. You tube golf does more for a majority of the golfers out there and it is truly entertaining.
All they are doing is trying to control their players, first of all that's a rule book produced post offense. Also let's not forget that Brooks Kappa is back on the PGA after being with live. (Nothing against any player in addressing the PGA) They need to stop picking favorites and actually do what's best for the game. They make plenty enough money. Stop trying to rule over your members and actually support them and the game. Because honestly with things like this they are going to take a player who was not in the spot light on their broadcast, but put himself and the PGA in the view on a different platform and they didn't like that they didn't get paid. He was free advertisement on a platform with multi million viewers, and that wasn't enough they only care about their money, not the players…

I'm not a Wesley fan. Every video I see him in, he seems like he's trying too hard to be cool, and just comes across like a donkey. That said, It seems like he's getting screwed. It seems like the PGA treats players like independent contractors, but then also wants to control everything they do like their employers. The whole LIV thing is a joke. Players gave up millions to stay with PGA, now PGA is taking back LIV players? And I'm not pro-LIV, or anti-LIV, pro-PGA, or anti-PGA. But it seems like PGA just keeps doing shady stuff that kind of screws over their players.
