Ryan Fox is a powerful player with a swing that’s all his own—and a great example of why every golfer’s swing should be built around their body, not someone else’s.

At impact, Fox’s torso is in a highly open position, and with driver he swings aggressively up on the ball—an action that, if imitated without the right physical capability, would wreak havoc on most golfers’ lower backs. His strong left-hand grip and fast torso rotation produce a lot of face rotation, typically leading to a cut shot pattern.

It’s far from textbook—but it works for him. That’s why we call it Perfectly Imperfect.

The lesson? Understand your limits, work within them, and build your swing around what your body can actually do. At SSWING, we always say: Own Your SSWING—because it’s not about copying the pros, it’s about creating your own most efficient, repeatable version.
