Teal Bend in Sacramento is relatively close to the airport. You can hear them taking off and landing, but I think there are only a few unobstructed views to the runways. Definitely not this close though!

Yep, Crosswinds in Savannah. You will often have planes from Savannah/HH International fly right over your head.
You’ll also have jets from the nearby airfield do drills in the sky, it’s amazing to watch.

Genesee Valley Park in upstate NY.
Neighbors the city airport. The skies above are the training area for single engine plane pilots…and you get to see a pretty sweet air show 1x a year in the summer.

We played on one in Phoenix, AZ where planes were CONSTANTLY flying in for landings close overhead. It was pretty cool. If they were flying in on one runway you got a great view of the plane itself. If they were flying in on the other runway you saw the shadow fly over the course like a dragon was overhead.
I can see some people viewing it as a negative distraction. I didn’t mind it though. 🤷

Sun Hills in Layton, UT is right next to the Air Force base. F-35’s taking off your whole round. It just becomes background noise after about 3 holes

JFC, Keep it down, I’m trying to Tee off here!

Course nearby literally has those landing lights/gear running thru a fairway on one of the holes. From the tee box it feels like you can hit a plane coming overhead

Crosswinds Savannah GA is like this but it’s planes flying in to land over the course.

The Falcon (RIP, it closed a few years ago) just west of Phoenix was adjacent to Luke AFB. Played there a few times when literal fighter jets were taking off, and you had to just stop golfing until they were done it was so loud and rumbling. Pretty wild.

East Potomac in DC has a good view of planes landing and taking off on the opposite side of the river.

Newport Beach Golf Course is at the end of the SNA runway
I’ve absolutely bottled some shots thinking I wasn’t distracted
I also drained my only eagle putt ever with one howling on take off

My home course is right across the river from DCA so there’s a CRJ or 737 taking off or landing basically every two minutes.

My little muni has the local airports landing pattern right over it. Bunch of retired air force guys flying their little personal cesnas as aggressively as possible. Then the fighter jets from the AF base nearby rip overhead quite often

The Leuchars RAF is just across the river from Saint Andrews Eden course. Several courses in Florida border on an Airfield. In Clearwater – Air core (now closed) is along side a runway of PIE Lake Venice Golf Club is tucked into VNC. The best for Flybys for me is during the Chicago Air and Boat show while playing Sydney Marovitz – (formerly Waveland) Easiest to get on during the week while practice is going – the weekend is crazy busy for parking and traffic.

I think Moffett Field Golf Club in California is right next to an air force base
North Kingstown Golf Course (aka Quonset golf course). It’s up against Quonset military base.

Once played Kantarat Golf Course via invitation. It is built between two active runways at Don Mueng airport in Bangkok. Unfortunately they don’t allow foreigners to play the course anymore due to security concerns. The course was average but unique.

I’ve played Royal Woodbine next to Pearson in Toronto. We were on a green and a massive jet seemed to come out of nowhere and we all reflexively ducked.

Bear Creek next to DFW is a good one especially with north flow. Lots of great low flying aircraft.
