Patrick Reed has been confirmed in the field for next week’s Qatar Masters, continuing his extended run through the Middle East Swing on the DP World Tour.
Reed is currently competing at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship, less than 24 hours after confirming that he will not return to LIV Golf in 2026. It’s thought that American will play the remainder of the 2026 season on the DP World Tour, a move that offers a pathway back to the PGA Tour if he finishes inside the top 10 on the Race to Dubai Rankings.

The Qatar Masters will mark Reed’s fourth consecutive start, following appearances at the Dubai Invitational, the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, which he won on Sunday, and this week’s event in Bahrain. The victory at Emirates Golf Club has lifted the 2018 Masters champion to second place in the Race to Dubai Rankings, while he currently sits 29th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Reed last competed at Doha Golf Club in 2024, when the venue hosted the Asian Tour’s International Series. On that occasion, he finished tied for 13th at five under par.

This year’s Qatar Masters will be played from 5–8 February 2026 at Doha Golf Club, the Peter Harradine-designed layout that has staged 26 of the tournament’s 28 editions. The only exceptions came in 2020 and 2021, when the event was held at Education City Golf Club, designed by José María Olazábal.
With a prize fund of US $2.75 million, the tournament will conclude the DP World Tour’s annual Middle East swing. Reed will be aiming to become the first American to lift the prestigious Mother of Pearl Trophy.
Past champions of the Qatar Masters include two-time winners Paul Lawrie, Adam Scott and Branden Grace, along with Ernie Els, Henrik Stenson, Thomas Bjorn, Sergio Garcia and defending champion Haotong Li.
