The pioneer of next-generation indoor golf has announced the launch of a $50 million investment fund to bring a world-class flagship complex to the Land of Lincoln.

According to the press release, Megalodome Golf is officially teeing up a bold new sports entertainment development that, when complete, will introduce the first full immersive indoor golf experience that replicates a traditional outdoor course.
Arizona-Style Golf, Year-Round
Designed to feel like a desert escape, Megalodome Golf recreates the atmosphere of elite courses in Scottsdale, Arizona, inside four massive domes, the largest of their kind in North America, according to the press release.
Golfers will enjoy a 9-hole executive course (Par 30) featuring six par-3 holes that range up to 160 yards, and three challenging par-4s that stretch up to 280 yards, complete with real sand bunkers, water hazards, and desert vegetation.
Built for Speed, Skill, and Fun
One of Megalodome’s standout features is efficiency, with a typical 9-hole round expected to take about 90 minutes, far quicker than traditional courses.
The complex is planned for a location in Oswego, about 45 miles west of Chicago, and will include a state-of-the-art practice dome with a 275-yard driving range and 50 hitting stalls, allowing golfers to practice with every club while tracking real ball flight and precise yardages.
More Than Just a Course
Beyond the fairways, Megalodome Golf offers advanced simulator stations, a short game area with chipping and putting greens, and a temperature-controlled environment that’s well-lit for nighttime play.
A high-end clubhouse rounds out the experience, featuring a premium bar, a fully stocked pro shop, a cloakroom, and office space, making it a destination for golfers and non-golfers year-round.
