ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Hi Danny, thanks again for this elbow fix. PGA = posture, grip, alignment. Right? I went to the irons video at the end and realised I had left a comment asking why you used swing direction data rather than club path. As I understand TrackMan swing direction is measured at the bottom of the swing whereas club path is taken at impact. With driver striking on the up the measure is already closing from where it's taken at the bottom. One thing I personally have taken from this principle is to address driver a few inches behind the ball where I think the bottom of the swing is, aim in to out and trust the club is closing to impact closer to the target line (but still in to out)while at the same time ensuring that the face is closed to the path at impact. That's why I think it would be more helpful to show club path data perhaps in addition to swing path. BTW I have never used TrackMan and have no idea how much finesse is required to achieve the fine degrees of difference you demonstrate. John Jacobs of course didn't have TrackMan and diagnosed swing faults from ball flight. Now I'm going round in circles haha. But what I would really like to be able to do is self diagnose and fix on the course.
Just passed this on to a friend of mine who hits the ball a long way with a massive hook. Hope it helps my short and slicing swing.
Great video Danny, really like the visual of water pouring out of each ear. Thanks Again for another good video!
Thanks Danny, aligning my forearms was the best tip to straighten out my drives. Great appreciate your videos.
Thanks again!
I'm sure a lot of your subscribers know about Hackmotion, but for the ones that don't, it's one of the best training aids I've used in 50 years of golf. You need to check it out it worth ever cent! Thanks to you I learned about it and it's changed my game. Thank you!
I want on can u help me please
I love this channel how much for lessons
Id prefer to learn to actually hit my driver. I honestly have no idea whats going on.. but I cannot hit it. Like I either hit under or over the ball. Its so embarrassing
Do you use the water out the ears method when using irons/hybrids off the ground
Danny Boy pumping out the content
Just so we are all clear: the reason why you could square the face with you eyes closed was the ‘align’ grip, right? The rest of the video was useful but felt this part was a bit weird.
Its also amazing what happens if you dont at least practice some …its been a couple months since ive been able to hit a range here in the north east usa (mostly weather related issues) but snuck out wednesday ..it is / was the last 40 degree day we’ll have for quite awhile (next week or so wont even be near freezing 🥶with wind chills at or below 0) and 2 things became very clear : 1 is the practice thing i mentioned above ,, , i lost any distance on all well struck balls i had (and there werent many “well struck “ balls),and i mean a lot of distance gone . And 2 the no practice thing really gets you out of shape too.. im still a bit sore from Wednesday today! Oh and you ( meaning me 😜) forget stuff that you dont even realize you forgot..right away your setup reminder was a “ oh yeah “ moment for me . And i forgot the hack motion at home ,which i bought over 2 months ago and still havent tried 🤦🏼♂️😂
I assume that the water out of the ear motion will lead to more powe also?
Your videos have been very helpful. The club face and swing circle have helped me. Have you done a video on wrist position throughout the swing? I use the pizza box (for my right wrist) you mentioned in a previous video, but I think my inconsistency may come from my left wrist.
I'm just wondering. With all your secret moves, add 50 yards to your irons, add 100 yards to your driver. Pitch like a pro. Hit your irons like a pro etc etc etc. Why is it you haven't won 40 majors, 400 tournaments and 60 ryder cup points. Just curious.
Well Done Danny! Happy Days.
Wanted a in person lesson with you Danny thought you might be local ish with your Yorkshire accent I’m hearing maybe Leeds but your based all way down Kent too far for me to go for a golf lesson might have to get an online one booked instead
Thanks Danny
Great info. Danny. I usually hit a fade that I’m okay with. The other day I hit a drive with less swing speed straight as an arrow a long way. You are right about it all. I like watching your legs. Your front leg bends on the take away and your back leg is pushing forward. Love ya man❤
Great video Daniel. Come play some Golf in South Africa!!
Yet again, Danny makes good sense! A QUICK check of all alignments+ONE practice swing (with whatever ground contact may be required for this shot) is obvious good sense+PRACTICE WITH BEST-EVER SWING AID!=PHONE VIDEO (Reality & Perception too often dissimilar..I recently was horrified to find some sway!! Fixed now).
Observed variations@address could easily explain same in swings, whatever: ALL alignments must be correct! TYVM!😊
Sorry Danny. Don't need to watch an advert.
Been trying the water ear back and through as I'm very inflexible and it seams to work ❤
Great reminder that accuracy starts with proper technique, not more effort. Small adjustments make a big difference off the tee. ⛳️👏
@DanielMaude thank you for the great golf tips I've lowered my golf score by 5-6 strokes so I know what you say works truly greatful 🙏
This gets easier to understand with every video, Danny! The graphics and lesson line up beautifully to explain how to fix our face-to-path issues. I absolutely credit you with fixing my horrible slice for good, and I am looking forward to sharing this video with anyone that struggles with a terrible slice or hook!
Hey guys, I recently bought Phigolf, and it's questionable, but i struggle with an intermittent slice in game and in real life. However, this lesson immediately changed my in game slice and club path, I hope and believe it will translate to help with the slice that plagues my real life game. I feel like you nailed it. I've been doing it wrong for 27 years. Thanks, Danny Maude. This is a great explanation and visualization.
Pulled your first swing 😂
i swear this guy is following me to the range…Every time I develop a swing problem, i come home and he has a video about it…getting weird…
Simple and effective as always. Great job thanks.
Have had a terrible slice with driver until I figured out the ball was in front of my lead foot.
much straighter now and if I go astray its not as bad.
hopefully this can give me some consistency 👍
Nice video, but…there is no way that drive would have gone 283 LOL It would be nice if the simulator were set to "Honesty".
With the nuetral arms, I need to have nuetral dominant arms. When my lead arm is too much I get a slice and when trail hand is too much I get hooky. I dont know how you do it Danny, but I sqeeze and back off 2 times. I concentrate on getting the same tensin in my hands.
