  1. Always dreamed of playing on the pgat when he was a kid then decided to take a bunch of money from Saudi terrorists to help destroy that very thing. How cute.

  2. amillimonster

Fuck yeah. Hope he gets back in form soon golf is better seeing these guys more than 4 times a year

  3. Due_Emergency2218

So, no Gooch? Going to need some asterisks…

  4. Anteater4746

i have no issues with taking the cash and also want brooks back on the pga

but phrasing it like it’s your “dream” after choosing to leave it for 500m than come back when it turns out it did suck is rich lmao

  5. defac_reddit

Lol his statement when he joined LIV also included family time and less travel. Just take a year off and decide what you want to do. It’s fine.

  6. Always a good thing when the quality of players on Tour improves

  7. This is hilarious

“In keeping with the PGA TOUR’s fundamental philosophy of meritocracy, only players who have been away from the TOUR for at least two years and have won THE PLAYERS Championship, Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, U.S. Open or The Open Championship during the 2022-2025 seasons are eligible for the Returning Member Program”

They might as well just rename it the Brooks, Rahm, Bryson and Cam Smith rule.

  8. Dornoch26

There is no justice in the world.
This pampered, country club rich boy took hundreds of millions of blood money, sued the PGA tour for daring to enforce consequences for that action, and a few years later gets to come back with no repercussions.
    Fuck him.

  9. ethanlogan24

Requirements for this “program” are still unclear. So you have to have won a major or The Players between 2002-2025, otherwise you can’t return? Needs more clarification.

“ Five-time major championship winner Brooks Koekpa explained his decision to join LIV Golf back in June 2022.
“Look, I’ll be honest with you, I signed for the dough,” Koepka said on the BS w/ Jake Paul podcast. “I’m 100% behind that. I don’t know, tomorrow I could go get in a car accident and never play golf again but my family is taken care of. That was a big thing for me.””

“Being closer to home and spending more time with my family”…I thought one of their main arguments was that with the 3 day events, there was more freedom in the personal lives.

I think he’s just trying to get away from Bryson.

  12. Effective_Impossible

Should have made him earn his way back through DP and the majors. Too many other players who stayed are now going to lose spot(s) to LIV returners (assuming more come back in the future).

  13. skirmsonly

Is he good enough to make the pga tour tho?

  14. Cosmicfool13

Every sport needs a heel or two, he fits that bill.

  15. Big_Distribution_481

I’m pleased he’s back from the circus car crash that is Liv.

However, these guys left the tour to spend more time with their families 🤷🏻‍♂️

  16. Future_Speed9727

He can go suck some camel tits.

  17. HamburgerSink

As long as his new PGA tour profile pic is of him eating cake then I think it’s fair

  18. hidey_ho_nedflanders

Did his dream as a child also include going to a separate golf league for a couple years to make a few more millions?

  19. meekerdeekers

Fired up to have him back. Hopefully he is just the first domino.

  20. SexyBaskingShark

There’s no way he left Liv without being sure he’d get on the PGA tour. A lot of nonsense talked in the last few days, he’s a top player and exceptions are always made for them in every sport

  21. Top-Caregiver7815

“When I was a child I always dreamed of competing on the PGA TOUR so I did and left for a tour that was threatening the PGA TOUR for a bag full of blood money and a now I want to come back.”

    Fuck this guy

  22. Half the guys left citing the excuse more time with their family. What a joke

  23. GenitalCommericals

This just furthers my point about the guys who got bought.

They got where they are because they were hungry for greatness. Greatness comes with notoriety, fame, visibility etc.

Those guys who left got wowed by a ridiculous amount of money with the expectation that they’d be playing their own sport with frankly less pressure and just get to be rich.

They forgot that they got paid that much money to be backseat to the (at the time) a lot of no names left on PGA tour (still some great names just saying). So they are no longer “great” heroes and champions of their sport. They became after thoughts and has beens.

TLDR – they thought money would be fulfilling, but they forgot why they played the game. To be a champion. Who won the LIV tournaments last year? What are the team names of each LIV team? Did you know that there even are teams? …..exactly. Brooks is the first to be unhappy with obscurity. Rahm and Bryson will be back soon, I guarantee it.

  24. ilikepisha

But I thought LIV allowed them to spend more time at home? Fewer tournaments, fewer rounds, blah, blah, blah! Dude is a meat whistle.

  25. SantaBarbaraMint

Fuck all these sportswashing blood money taking LIV traitors

  26. TigerWooded

🤡🌎, fuck LIV, fuck this douche

  27. There_is_no_selfie

Fuck that guy and may be never win anything again

  28. HayesDNConfused

Just got my tickets to the farmers gonna be a zoo!

  29. Black_Mamba_FTW

Im looking at you Pat Perez! 🤣🤣🖕

  30. Pristine-Brother-121

Some of you whining about this need to read between the lines. Yes, this is specific to a few players, so possibly unfair. Yes, Brooks said he wanted family time and less travel, so this makes him look hypocritical.

But all of this is just the PGA Tour trying to break the back of LIV for good, and frankly, I think it might work. They got one, and really, if they can just get Bryson as well, I think LIV is finished, because Rahm and Cam Smith aren’t moving the needle. I supported the LIV split originally because I felt like the PGA Tour was getting stale and boring, playing on the same courses that are outdated and too easy for the pros, but it is clear LIV has no lasting power and is just making the PGA Tour look like a 1 or 2 player tour with the rest being players that are good, not great.

  31. imbasicallycoffee

Not a fan of him or his antics but whatever has to happen to kill off LIV entirely and in quicker fashion I’m ok with.

  32. Emoney19124

Brooks being back is great. Now we need Bryson and Rahm to follow. Here is your opportunity so do the right thing.

The other thing we need to realize is the sports, political, and entertainment landscape has changed significantly (in regard to Saudi $$) since the defections to LIV. If you are interested, look up who has business deals with or has taken PIF $$. Biden did deals, Trump did deals, Tim Cook, Jensen Huang, Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, Ronaldo, WWE, FIFA, EPL, countless musicians and actors, the list goes on and on.

The LIV defections changed the PGA tour forever, most of the elite players seem to think for the better. For the fans it certainly was not better. I was watching final round highlights of tournaments from pre-defections. It was so much better golf. Brooks, Bryson, Rory, Sheffler on his rise, Rickie, Spieth, Thomas, Rahm, all battling it out on the back nine.

Bring them all back, make them pay a financial penalty, but bring them back and make golf exciting each week like it once was.

  33. teasizzle

Fucking hell. What was this all even for?

  34. lexbuck

Wait… he’s closer to home and spending more time with family being back on the PGA Tour? Wasn’t that was LIV was giving guys?

  35. gunmoney

now it’s closer to home and more time with family… LIV was lame and now that he’s cashed in he’s over it.

  36. mattmgd

Absolute jokes from the tour. I can’t think of a single player who I will want to lose more than Brooks.

  37. mover999

It was better without his sour pussed face
