Out of pure curiosity I always check the golf clubs section at the Goodwill because one of these days, someone is going to donate something they shouldn’t have. Well one day before my birthday… it happened…

It’s not a bargain if you don’t show the price

  2. devil_ball_masher

How do you leave out what you snagged it for!?!

  3. I really liked the part where OP showed us the price tag.

  4. RemotePotatoe

Not showing the price tells me this wasn’t a deal, just a Scotty in the wild.

    😂 🤡

You paid $499.99 but they retail for $500?

  6. RealisticProfile5138

Was it $3.99 like all the other clubs usually are?

  7. AssistantAcrobatic38

Yall are ruthless 😂😂 it was $3.00 good lord

Literally the reason to post is the price and we have to dig through comments like a shopper digging through a bin of clubs at Goodwill.

Honestly at the price you paid, getting it restored is not a big deal so great find. And yes, the high handicap hackers on this sub are ruthless. I know they downvotes are coming and I don’t care, bring it on you hackers.

That’s a Japanese release I think. I do not remember the US ones having all the specs on them

Not to ruin your find but this was one of the first models of sc putters that had 1:1 “super replicas” that were available on aliexpress and faked really well. There are plenty of them out there and I cant remember what the major tell was. I think it involved a magnet to test the face or something

Picked up a Ping G5 driver for $5.99 today. Not bad for a club that is worth $50-60 or so.

They had a couple callaway big bertha fusion irons for $4.99 /each. Could probably sell them for $30-50/each on ebay to someone who has lost one but I don’t want to flip to net $20.

Even if this was $3, it won’t help your game

Clean it with soap and water and keep as is. Might as well buy a low end Scotty with what a proper restoration will be with that model cost

  15. Nice dude! I’ve got the same club.

Probably worth around 350-450 depending on condition, what a score.

GW Employee, this funky putter with the same colored dots as the Twister floor game, who’s gonna want that?? Eff it, $3 bucks…

Is that a 303 German stainless steel insert?

What is it? Putter obviously but is this like a special putter that gets you 5 under for the day?
