A new, state-of-the-art golf simulation center is now open at Tuscaloosa’s Ol’ Colony Complex, alongside a new location for a local favorite restaurant.

The Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority shared the good news over the holidays and said their latest offering, Iron & Ember Golf at Ol’ Colony, now has bays available for rental.

There are four total bays featuring Golfzon simulators, auto-loading tees, moving floor plates, multiple hitting surfaces, and real-time graphics that respond to your play. The bays can be rented by the hour for $45- $60, accommodating up to six players per bay.

PARA calls it the most realistic infoor golf experience available anywhere.

Also open now is Jalapeno’s Little Kitchen – a miniature location of the beloved local restaurant run by Jheovhanny Gomez and Wayne and Justin Grimball.

The kitchen offers brisket tacos, nacho platters, donuts, and more, along with an array of drinks and other treats exclusive to the new spot’s menu.
