I spent the last several years building up my golf bag with the recent addition of custom fit irons a couple months ago to make my bag feel really complete and custom to me only to have them stolen out of my car on Christmas. Feels bad man…

I have read so many posts of clubs being stolen from cars. Let this be a reminder to all of us.
I know it’s not the same driver but I have a qi35 10.5 ls I would let go for cheap
See if your insurance will cover the cost they may have a dollar amount they cover up to in events of theft
Sorry OP, that sucks. Hope insurance can make you whole.
Check pawn shops in the area
Guys, put an airtag in the bottom of your bag.
If a crack head offered me those Id take the clubs and find the owner. Damn man thats terrible. I feel for you
Sorry for your loss.
This is horrible and I’m very sorry.
Sorry brother, hope that you have insurance that covers them. Go Beavs, I will cover beers at Trysting.
Homeowner’s/Renter’s insurance may cover it
Why did you leave your clubs in the car?
ON Christmas?????
RIP. Air Tags are wonders.
Do you have insurance?
my clubs are only in my car on the way to or from a golf course. i get home, put them in garage. my best friend lost a putter his grandfather used because he kept his clubs in his car 24/7 and they got stolen…. all because twice a month after work he went to the range. he doesn’t do that anymore.
The only times my clubs are in the car are when I’m going to the course or range. Otherwise, they stay at home. I feel sketch af even parking at the gym after a range session that I always try to find a space I can back into so no one can get to the trunk easily.
Airtag. It’s good for travel too
Oh no…and the Beaver head cover as well…? Maybe look for a Beaver Believer for the culprit. And seriously so sorry had this happen to me years ago…The worst feeling…Check the pawn shops…and Craigslist/FB marketplace
I would be devastated, especially with the custom irons?
Really sorry to hear that. Will your insurance cover the loss?
On a side note, I bought some tungsten tape to do what you did to your irons…I even had the same model TM’s you had., but I haven’t applied it yet. Can you elaborate on how it affected your ball flight? I was thinking it would give me a slightly more penetrating trajectory.
That’s terrible. At least you have insurance to replace the Miura irons, G440 woods, and that Honma putter.
Check your local pawn shops and play it again sports. Could get lucky.
That’s weird my bro got his stolen too on Christmas in Chicago. Brand new Vessel bag too.
Ugh, dude that sucks, I’m sorry. Hopefully you can get another set to hold you over until you decide (if you decide) to rebuild your set.
That Seamus driver cover is mad unique – bummer.
At least you know that scum loser thief won’t be able to hit those clubs
Tour AD DI shafts too..oh my goodness man
I hate this for you man. People are shit
Dude. That’s lowwwww….
So sorry to hear!
Sorry. It does suck. Hope you get them or equivalent back soon.
Your car insurance should cover theft
Which ones will you buy again?
Sorry this happened to you. But here are some take aways. First, you should NEVER leave your clubs in your trunk EVER. The fluctuation in temperatures and humidity really take a toll on your clubs and can even compromise their integrity. Your grips will age and dry out much quicker as well. Secondly, use some sort of tracking device that you can be inconspicuously placed in your bag. Nowadays they are cheap and a great way to keep an eye on your bag and clubs.
That sucks man. Sorry for your loss. On a side note, good to see a fellow beaver out there golfing.
My Buddies were stolen from his car this summer . We don’t hate thieves enough .
That sucks same thing happened to me two years ago people fucking suck sometimes. I found my bag on Facebook market place a few weeks ago and the seller won’t respond it was vintage ping bag. I hope you get some type of justice man.
Instead of blaming the victim we should punish thieves. Totally unacceptable that this shit is seen as the price of doing business.
Go beavs – sorry for your loss

Got these clubs for sale if you’re interested. Guy at work was selling them cheap
Go Beavs!
And I’m sorry for your loss 🙁 this would be devastating, even though they can be replaced it’s still a gut punch. All the time browsing, saving money, testing out and buying clubs. People are assholes
hey! looks like I’ll see you at Trysting Tree.
Wow this blew up…
Yes, I checked with local pawn, second hand sporting good, and golf shops, but I live in the Seattle area and honest don’t see many pawn shops listed. One even told me they can’t tell me if they’ve bought any clubs recently due to privacy reasons but they do check against police reports.
I did file a police report but currently only have a temporary case number. I am supposed to get a permanent one once assigned but its been three days now and it hasn’t been assigned.
I’ve checked with insurance and deductible is too high to make it worth it. At least, I know my specs so will just look for similar clubs online, as I can’t justify buying new again.
Last, yes I won’t be leaving my clubs in the car next time. It was convenient to have them in the car if I wanted to hit the range really quick. But that convenance is not worth them getting stolen (obviously). Also the air tag seems like a good idea.
Still hoping they show somehow 🙂
This is how John Wick should have started off.
I feel for you man, it has actually happened to me twice. First time I accidentally left them in the trunk of a rental car I returned. I realized it the next day and went in to talk to them and magically they said no clubs were in the car during their inspection… The other time they were in my truck at work. I ended up leaving my truck at work for the night (I had purchased a new truck that evening) and someone was supposed to move it into our shop. Well that individual forgot to put it inside that night and I came in the next morning to a broken window and no clubs.
It sucks man, I hope you get to rebuild your bag even better this time.
Not sure where you are, but if you’re in Canada & keep an official handicap via Golf Canada, I believe you have insurance on your clubs.
Many clubs include the Golf Canada membership with your club membership.
