Golf NSW has opened applications for its 2026 High Performance Program (HPP), including the Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) Elite Squad, offering the State’s most talented golfers the opportunity to be part of a nationally recognised development pathway.

The High Performance Program is designed to support elite junior golfers and nationally competitive amateurs across New South Wales and the ACT. Athletes selected into the program gain access to world-class performance support, including sports science services, tailored development planning and high-level competitive opportunities aimed at accelerating progression to the highest levels of the game.

Golfers applying for the program are expected to demonstrate a strong competitive record, a clear commitment to maximising their potential and a dedication to advancing their game in a high-performance environment.

Golf NSW High Performance Manager Khan Pullen said the success of athletes in 2025 underlined the strength of the program and its development framework.

“2025 was a phenomenal year for our athletes,” Pullen said.

“From national titles to international breakthroughs, the squad demonstrated resilience, skill and professionalism. These results highlight the strength of our pathway development programs and the strong commitment from Golf NSW, Jack Newton Junior Golf, and our program stakeholders to identify, develop, support and nurture the State’s most promising talent.”

“We’re excited to build on this momentum and welcome the next generation into the program.”

The Golf NSW High Performance Program and JNJG Elite Squad continue to play a critical role in the State’s performance pathway, providing athletes with the tools, support and environment required to compete at the highest level.

Applications for the 2026 program can be submitted here. Applications close on January 11.
