The US Open is the final Grand Slam tournament of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre. The 2023 US Open saw Serbiaโs Novak Djokovic and USAโs Coco Gauff claim the menโs and womenโs singles titles. It was Djokovicโs 24th Grand Slam title and Gauffโs first Grand Slam title. The 2024 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 26 – September 8. Both of these men turned me on to tennis. Mac was misunderstood by me but I dig his commentary when I can these days. Bjorn was the quiet man who let his tennis speak for him. ๐๐๐
