Aaron Baddely is one of the better putting pros on tour. It’s funny to hear this fitter instruct him.
Wait, what? To roll a great putt, it's all about fitting, set up, strike and consistency? No LAB putter marketing BS? Who knew.
Can we just have a video of Aaron and his putting instead of all the pointless sales chat…
What knuckle was he measuring to determine the 34"? The knuckles I saw him measure were at 33"
Well done 2nd Swing and Mr Baddeley. This was a good video and illustrates all the principles and value from putting fitting and coaching. The numbers look great. I didn't know Trackman did putting software. It looks good. Its not about the most expensive putter, the putter with the most tech or the one that is promoted the most – this was more objective than others I have viewed on Youtube.
Would love to see Mr Baddeley make a few cuts in 2026 – he has such a good swing and putting approach. Best of Luck.
I was able to get a tour level putter fitting last year, it made a massive difference and I ended up with a completely different putter to what I expected. The new putter had a shaft that was 3" shorter than my then current putter and was a fat Anser style rather than the mallet I used. I now start every putt on the line I have chosen – I only wish it was the right line more often!
Why you mesure from standing tall if you bend over for putting
So to get a fitting with Mike @ Scottsdale you pick “buy a new club” and choose putter correct? $200 cost correct for 1 hr correct? Thanks…great stuff
All this puting technology is bullshit for the most part, tour golfers have been playing under par – par golf since the beginning, you aint scoring under par if the puts aint going in, just learn what feels right,
