A very simple way to just get a sense and feel for how to get the shaft to lean forward is you can just do like a very basic pitching motion. So you can grab the club with your lead hand. Now I’m just going to use the palm of my trail hand. I’m going to place it directly on the side of the handle. You can kind of see I’m just placing my palm and then my my middle finger right along the the shaft and the grip. The reason that’s there is because when I take it back, I’m trying to keep my hand or palm along the grip and just up until my takeaway position. When I go into impact, if I do cast it, it’s going to basically come off my hand. But if I were to push the handle down and forward, I can get the club to lean quite a lot forward like this. If you can go ahead and do a few little pitch shots like this, that’ll at least give you a sensation of getting the shaft to lean more forward so that you’re not adding loft to
