Hi all. 22HC. Looking for some advice on getting some consistency. I feel I have a decent swing but every shot is usually very different. Hoping it's a small fix.

Figure out your most common miss. Do drills to address it. Repeat for 50 years.

Dude you’ve got nice tempo man. Your 22 must be coming from chipping and putting

My swing looks ten times worse than this and I have a 4.3 handicap. How are you a 22?

Its not a great camera angle but the swing looks pretty good. I guess you haven’t been playing that long? I feel like just playing much more golf is the answer rather than the swing. I’ve seen 10 handicaps with much worse swings

This looks better than a 22 handicap to me, so Id assume youre leaving strokes out there around the greens.

You have a very flattened club/wrist through your backswing that you compensate for well in the transition, which brings that flatter, inside takeaway, back down square. Lovely little move but inefficient – you have to nail that compensatory move every single time to hit it straight.

Wed rather see your backswing remain closer to plane to be more in line with your downswing – less moving parts = more consistency.

This sort of self-corrected swing flaw is where many golfers stumble, as the symptoms are inconsistent and just feel like bad ball striking. But that is the nature of “inconsistency” in a swing versus “bad form”.

I doubt I can give you any constructive criticism or advice – so I won’t bother – but damn bro there’s no way you’re an honest 22 with that swing. That’s like a 10-12 handicap swing.
