We Can’t Leave the Country Until We Make a Birdie!
When we make a birdie, we have to leave the country. We’re starting off here in Portugal, Kin to the Marina. We’re playing a twoman scramble, and our goal is to make a birdie as fast as possible so we can get to the next country and finish all four countries of the Euro Tour. And when we do so, I mean, I guess we’re pretty cool. Let’s get to it. This is the beautiful first hole. Just bang it straight on the middle. A little fade, but that will definitely work. That’s good. First one’s a par five, so we got a pretty good chance to make a birdie on the first one and move on to the next country real quick. Right side as well. I think we’ll find one. We got about like 280 to that pin. The fairway is pretty narrow over there. Oh yeah, that’s straight in the houses. Let’s save this situation. At least get one on the hole. That’s good. That should be good. It’s decent. We’ll play it from there. Ended up right here on the right side. It’s a 110 to the pin. Just a normal sand wedge should do the trick. That comes back. All right, boys. I’m going to go with the pitching wedge. Pins on the left side. Just got to get over this tree. Oh, little fade. going to be right side green. Yeah, this is for the birdie actually. Oh my god. So, we got to make this. This is our only chance at the moment to move on to the next country, the mystery country. Well, I gave it a run. Imagine he made it. Since we don’t need a par, I got to give it a run as well. Come on. There were zero runs given on that shot. Let’s move on. We’ve got 120 left to that pin. Little short par three that we got to play here. It’s a tough one though. Water on the left, but I’m gonna put it close and we’re gonna do it. Oh my god. Maybe not as close as I expected. Put some pressure on my shoulder. So, I got to actually make it on the green now. Dude’s photographing the goose over there. Go. Please go. That’s right next to the pin. Let’s go. What do you think? It’s looking uh Yeah, it’s looking interesting here. Let’s see. I think it’s going to turn right to left. I’m just going to give you the line. The greens are pretty fast here, so don’t want to overcook it too much. Oh. Oh my god. It turns like a little bit to the right. So, you just aim it right at you. I trust your judgment. Right edge. Next hole. Third hole. It’s a par five. It’s just to the left side. So, we got to go in between those two trees in the middle. It’s all right. That’s a good layup, I’d say. Yeah. I’m going to try to hit my classic draw, the big hook over those trees cuz it really opens up there on the left. That’s right. Yeah, same as wine. Okay, well, we’ll have a ball to play there at least. 247 left to the pin. I have a chance to get an eagle, but that means we still can’t move on because that’s an eagle and not a birdie. That’s okay. That’s going to be like a little left of the green somewhere. We’ll just try to go for the green. Ah, no. Put it way too far in my stance. Hopefully I don’t hit this beautiful cart in my club. The good news is this is for eagle. So we only have to put it close to that pin. Arvo and we get ourselves a birdie. Little tapping. Hop and stop next to the pin sucks in our ball. And we’re done. Pause. Go. It’s too short. The little bump and run to the right of the pin. Maybe not that right. Tricky one. Little left to right. The line’s pretty predictable. Let’s go, baby. Let’s go. And now it’s time to book the flights to the mystery country. We’re out here in Sicily at the Pichiolo Etna Golf Resort. We’re going to start off on this little par three about 180 yards. And let’s get this birdie, man. I’ll give you the honors on this one. Arvo, you know what’s good? Show me playing with the QIS. So, that means your shots are going to go like 20 m further than usual, supposedly. I guess the game plan here, Arvo, is just to enjoy the game. Good luck to us, man. Oh, that’s cooked on the left. You’ll have to clutch this one out. Definitely did not clutch it up for the team. This is going to be a tough one. Yeah. You know what? What? I know the reason why we didn’t hit those good shots. Okay, tell me. Because we just got off the flight. We’re jet lag. We had like a 24hour almost layover. So, uh, it’s been a tough time, but we’re doing our best. I think we can make that birdie relatively quickly because we do have a couple of par fives coming up as well. That’s true. Come on, Normal. Italy. Nice little chip though. Pin high. I mean, yeah, it’s uh, we’ve got a chance, but it’s pretty tough. That’s the volcano that we were talking about, by the way, guys. How do you like it? I like it so much. This is so unique. Come on, man. We got to make it. if it turns. If not, it’s not in. Yeah. Gave it a run, though. So, it’s almost like dead straight. So, a bump and run would do the trick. Yep. We’re cooked. Next hole. If I get this in the trees, I’m cooked, chat. But the next one is a par five, Arbo. And we can’t see the pin. The next two are par fives, actually. Oh, yeah. Right. Come on, Ar. We got to get this birdie. Oh, we’ll get it. Come on. That’s perfectly on the fairway. Let’s go. Now all I got to do is crunch it. Yep. Yep. We’re good. Yeah. We got about 200 m left to go on this shot. Look at how tight the fairway is. That is ridiculous. If I hit it left, I’m cooked. But there’s the volcano as well. Yeah, exactly. But I have the volcano in the back. I’m feeling pretty good. And I think the volcano is going to motivate me to hit this one on the green. That’s going to be safe. Yeah, I think. Yeah, that should be it’s going to catch a kick left. I don’t usually play with a hybrid, but we don’t have a 4iron. I think it’s going to be good. It’s a G430. People like that thing a lot. Yeah. Go. Why did it touch the leaves? Well, the same shot as you. We got a little nervy bunker chip. The fairways tend to be a little soft here. So, I’m pretty happy that we made it into the rough. And this should be pretty straightforward for us. Oh, no. Ar. Or maybe not. Well, this will be more straightforward for Carl than it was for me. Was the ground hard or just really chunk? I think I I’m just geeking. Geeking. Wait. Nope. We’re going to the next hole, boys. See you on the What is it? Wait, what do you mean? We have a putt. Oh, yeah. This is a bor. We’re not going to the next hole. Let’s go, boys. Forgot about that. But we got to hold this out. Yeah, we do. A little birdie putt. You know, it looks kind of straight. Turns left to right a bit. Let’s see how it goes. Oh my god. No. Pulled it. Pulled it. What the hell was that? The greens are so fast. Putting the pressure on you. Yeah, this is a tough one. These are like the nerviest ones. The ones that you should make, but at the same time, you’re like There’s no way. It’s not that fast, bro. You just tapped it. I thought it was like August the level fast. You got me scared with that. Oh my god. Let’s do the next one. It’s a par five as well. Well, we’ve got another par five here. Narrow fairway. This course is actually really famous for being super narrow. And we got a nice dog leg right. So, a little fade would be ideal because this fairway is a little bit shorter than we hit our drives. I mean, it’s a fade. I don’t think I needed to fade it that much, though. I’ll make it up for the boys. Come on, Arbo. Let’s do it. That’s like perfect. That’s genuinely perfect, Arbo. We’re going to have a real nice look to the pin from there. What’s the game plan? 250. Yeah, let’s both go for the green. We need the birdie. We didn’t We’re not playing for score. Yeah. Okay. Just straight up and right. Right. I think so. Yeah. It’s going to tend to hook because you have like a sidehill Y that’s above your feet. Bro, that’s so perfect. It’s an aggressive line. Went over the trees, but there there’s the green. Yeah, I’m going do exactly the same. That’s not as ideal, but that’s a safe layup there. Once again, we have a decent chance. It’s 39 yards to the pin. Ar, all we got to do is put it close to the pin. Oh, that’s perfect. I felt that one. Well, that’s in the hole. Come on. Put it closer. I feel like I need to hold it out for this one cuz you’re parked right next to it. The bounce. The bounce killed it. Actually, it wasn’t even that close to be honest. Yeah, it seemed way closer than this, but we’ll give it a try. At least it’s a birdie putt. And it’s a really easy line. Arlo, I know you like this one. I like this one. Right to left. Yes, that’s the perfect one. That’s the push shape for the putt. Taylor made our pink. Let’s give the Ping some love. What is this putter? Ping DS72. I’m going to give you the line. Remember, the greens are fast. Looks like uphill a little bit. Or am I tripping? Just a little bit. So, it’s going to have that good turn. Oh, this is a really good line. The lippy lippy. Oh my god. I feel like I know the line. It looks makeable. Where do you hit it? Like right edge to be honest. Just aim at my ball and it’s going to turn right to left. Is that it? Did I get it? Let’s go, sir. Let’s go. That felt so good. We did it quick as well. We got lucky because the next hole is a part four and that’s going to be tough. Yeah, we probably wouldn’t make it there. This is literally the best place to do it. We have the Etna in the back. Another airport montage. Let’s go. And we’ve made it out here to Poland in the Sand Valley Golf Resort. We are extremely excited to play, Carl. You know why? Why? Why? Because it’s sandy everywhere, man. We got to make a birdie. We do. It’s going to rain soon. So, we need to make this birdie quick, my brother. Come on, Ar. Let’s do it. 356 bar 4. Looks like a long wave, but it isn’t. Come on. Straight down the middle. Well, kind of left side, but it’s going to be good there. Oh, the blur on the zoom. Oh, you can crush it right now. That’s exactly what I’m going to do. Poland kind of feels like home. It does. It’s good as well. Yeah. Come on, bro. We’re in Poland. Perfect start. Pulling out the little 18 birdies. No sponsor because we forgot the bogey rangefinder in our villa. Once again, peep the villas while I’m looking at the distance. Hey, look at these. These are really nice. We’re actually staying in one of these. And you can see that in our main vlog. Remember Arvo, the owner told us that the greens are very hard. Oh no. Hit the bottom right side. Not too bad. Well, it is really into wind, so I’m not liking that a whole lot, but I’m feeling good about this shot. That’s good. Well, if it carries hopefully. I think we’re kind of screwed on the first one. Bump and run. Come on. Well, that’s nowhere near the hole. You got to go up that hill because it’s going to roll down to the left side. Where do I aim it? Like right at the pin. Yeah, on top of the hill. Well, that’s going to go to the right side. Come on. Yeah, we’re moving to the next hole. But he’s doing trick shots over there. But Arnold, peep, the view. The view is sick. Look, the course, by the way, it looks insanely wide. Like the fairways and everything. So, it’s like you can slice it and you’re probably going to be pretty good. But unless you top it, then you’re in like this tall grass and you’re completely cooked. Yeah, but the course is very beautiful and the conditions are perfect. I mean, with the storm in the back, it looks beautiful, but terrifying at the same time. We got a nice little par three here. Water on the left, bunkers on the right. It’s about 135 to the pin. Relatively simple shot if the wind was not there, but it’s looking pretty tough. Honestly, the ball might do a whole lot that I don’t want it to. It’s good. is all right, but I think it’s a bounce off. Oh, you think the wind took it or you just No, the wind did not take it. I hit it. Okay, the bounce absolutely destroyed me. But I go right side, you say for sure. It’s right side. It’s looking good. That is going to be far away from the hole. Stay. Stay. No. No. No. These greens are so tough, but we can still make it. Yeah, we got to hold it out. We got a pretty tough shot here. Look at how high up the green is. This is going to have to be a pretty high kind of flop shot deal. Come back. Get in. Hit the slope. Hit the slope. Come. Oh my god. It didn’t hit the slope. Carl, look. It came back. It came back down the slope. Imagine went in. That’s crazy. [Music] Oh, it’s going to No. No. That’s past the slope. Let’s move on to the next par five. And this is our chance to shine. It’s like 440 m, I think. Come on. Lock in, boy. I’ve always been. Oh, that’s perfect. Come on, bro. Look. Wait. Did not see a second of it. I think we can reach the green with my ball. Okay. Well, that’s great. I’m just going to blast it then. Yeah, blast it. That’s dead straight. Good line. Hopefully, it’s not in the water. I think it might be just left of it, so we should be good. Good thing we didn’t land in the bunker. But the bunkers are really easy to play here. I think you can see the pin right there. It’s 200. No, it’s like 180 m there. Seriously, that short? I think you can make it, but I’m going to lay it up there because I doubt it I can uh make it up there with the rentals. I’m just going to lay it up and you’ll play it aggressive. All right, let’s do that. Well, that’s perfect. Nice. It’s the best layup I can do. Now, it’s time to put it straight on the green. It’s all I got to do here. How? Well, that’s literally straight toward the perfect. Oh my god. And it Yes, it’s over. Oh my god. We’re whipping out the Texas wedge for this one. We got a two putt for a birdie here. So, it’s looking good. actually a one putt since this one’s not on the green. But the toughest part is just going to be understanding how fast this grass rolls. It looks like it goes like left to right and then comes back a bit. I’m going to hit more or less I would say left edge so it doesn’t turn. It comes back a bit at the end. So you have to hit it like perfectly dead straight. I’m not going to fumble this. That’s kind of a tap in. If we make a birdie on this one, you guys have to subscribe to the bogey family. Please. We’re on the road to 10K and it would be so awesome. Okay, I’m going to go straight kind of left. I mean, well, a little better. That was not the best, but uh this is a tap. Harvo, you trust me? I’ll trust you. That’s a nervy tapping, but you do. You don’t over analyze. I’m not going to look at the thing without any nerves. Oh, no. We’re seen. I mean, good approach shot. You banged it. Ooh, third hole once again. Hey, the boys got it though. How was this course for these three holes? Man, I really liked it. We’re going to get to another airport montage and see you in the next country. Wow. We’ve made it back to our home country, beautiful Latvia. We’re here at Viesta Golf Club. It’s a beautiful course, man. It’s an amazing course. It’s our home course, so we’re excited to play here today. We’re starting off on the second hole. It’s a par three. What was it to the hole? You already got the distance. 132 m. How does it feel to be back home? It’s not 37° out here anymore. So, the thing is they put the tea boxes really far back for us. This is the longest I’ve played this hole, I think, ever. I just hope I put it on the green, man. Bro, that’s perfect. I mean, if it stays there. Go. I mean, that’s on. Where’s the ball? Go get the ball. Boys are tripping a bit after the trip. Yep. Little stinger. Well, that’s in the bunker. The little double bunker from the boys. I thought mine was across. We got to make it in the hole, bro. We can do it. Well, I gave it a chance. I’m going to do a quickie no glove. Look at this hole out. Next hole. Par five. We have a chance on this. 470 yards. Oh well, we’re doing it. Of course we are. Please show the people though what you got in hand right there. Wait, wait, wait. This driver was waiting for us for like 2 weeks while we were away on the Euro tour. Look, the new Tacoma Ignis. We’re going to do a full review on this one, so stay tuned. This is actually the first time hitting it. It’s sick. Plus, the customs office were the ops. They did not want to give us that driver. We beat the ops. Let’s see how this baby feels. That’s good. That’s real good. All I’m going to say is I like it. If you like it, I sure as heck hope I like it, too. Come on. Oh, both boys. Straight down the middle or down the left side. But that’s like a perfect line to the green from there. Very easy shot. 170 m to the pin last about like 200 y. Feeling very good today. I’m going to hit a five. Did you get your ligaments cut or whatever? Keep doing it in your butt. If you keep doing this stuff, there’s no way I’m locking in. I shouldn’t have digged in my butt twin. After seeing that, I’m definitely clubbing up. Come back. That’s That’s good. I should be next to it. Oh, that’s a very aggressive line, but it’s good. Playing a bit short today. We’ve got 30 yards to the pin. Come on. That’s perfect. Go. Go. Well, that’ll give us at least a chance. Sink this birdie. No. Eagle. Bounce right. No. Oh my god.
