The 65th Annual Platinum Coast Invitational golf event will be played Dec. 13-14 at Rockledge Country Club.

As one of the longest running Premier Amateur events in Florida, this year’s Invitational will be the final leg in the six-event East Coast Amateur Series and gives players the final chance to earn points and be invited to the finals in January at Sandridge Golf Club in Vero Beach.

“This year’s field is stacked with talent, and the course is in perfect condition with very fast and tricky greens,” ” Rockledge PGA Professional Matt Morrison. “I see even par as a great score this year to win the Championship flight.”

The Platinum has a history of producing close and competitive finishes, including last year with Eastern Florida State College standout Masen McKain winning in a three-hole sudden death playoff.

Some of the top local players in the field this year include EFSC’s Horace Pennix, 2024 top 3 finisher Zach McGoffin, Daniel Boyd, 2019 Champion Tom Miller and Rockledge Club champion Aaron Hattaway.

The event will not only feature the Championship Flight. Also participating are players of all skill levels and ages with a men’s flight, senior men, super senior and ladies division winners.

The event kicks off Saturday and Sunday Morning with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. off both No. 1 and No. 10.

Spectators are welcome and electronic live scoring will be available to view.
