The 2026 Open Championship is set for Royal Birkdale, but the R&A is already promoting the 2027 Open, to be played at the Home of Golf, St. Andrews.

You can’t get tickets yet to 2027, but you can send in what is essentially a down payment to get yourself in position to secure tickets for 18 months from now. This may not be a bad Christmas present for the golf traveler on your list.

Called a priority access pass, fans can put down 99£ ($132) to gain access to “an exclusive booking window to attend The 155th Open.”

That deposit goes towards the final purchase price, or can be fully refundable. Fans can choose from one of three packages, including those with accommodation options and the Open Camping Village.

When St. Andrews hosts in 2027, it’ll mark the 31st time the Open has been at the Old Course.
