OKLAHOMA CITY –
Every golfer is searching for ways to improve their swing, and legendary Canadian golfer Moe Norman’s technique has inspired many to perfect theirs.
Todd Graves, among Moe’s most famous students, shared insights on his approach on Friday during a demonstration with the News 9 team.
The Simplest Way to Swing
During the demonstration, Graves instructed participants to adjust their stance and arm positions to mimic hammering a nail.
Graves said AI helped identify this method by analyzing biomechanics and body anatomy.
“If I put in there what’s the easiest way to hit a golf ball, it took the biomechanics, the anatomy of the body, and said this is the best way to do this,” Graves said. “AI has helped the process, and it’s really discovering that this is the best way to hit a golf ball, the easiest way.”

Graves also discussed the Coffee Creek Golf Academy, now the Graves Golf Club, in Edmond and his new book, “The Intelligent Golf Swing.”
“The old Coffee Creek Golf Course, we purchased that, and we built a six-hole training center with a driving range,” Graves said. “The book launched today. Anybody who wants to stop by gets a free copy of the book if they stop by the Academy today. We’re doing a book signing today.”
