Many of the world’s top golfers return to action this week at the Tiger Woods-hosted 2025 Hero World Challenge, which takes place at Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas from Thursday, December 4 to Sunday, December 7.
Neither Woods, who is recovering from another back surgery, nor Rory McIlroy, who recently won the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai for the seventh time, are in the limited 20-man field. However, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who we last saw at the Ryder Cup, will be looking to win in the Bahamas for a third straight year.
Who is playing in the 2025 Hero World Challenge?
The 20-player field includes major champions JJ Spaun, Keegan Bradley, Justin Rose, Hideki Matsuyama, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman and Jordan Spieth. The lineup also features 2025 Ryder Cup stars Sam Burns, Harris English, Robert McIntyre and Sepp Straka.
As well as Scheffler, Matsuyama, who won in 2016, and Spieth, who lifted the trophy in 2014, are previous champions.
