If you’re holding your putter in the lead hand like this, you’ve got problems. You want to hold it like this, where the putter shaft is in line with the forearms. When the putter shaft is in line with the forearms, the forearm and the putter are going to want to swing on the same angle or on the same plane. Now, how you do that is pretty simple. When you’re set in there, just take your lead arm, rotate your palm up towards the sky. That’ll tuck your elbow underneath. It’ll bring the forearm into a nice neutral position so that it fits in line with the putter shaft. Now, if you want more tips like this on how to improve your putting, check out our book, The Easy Break, which is an Amazon bestseller, and you can find it on Amazon or vlscoaching.com.
