This was filmed with a temperature of 106 degrees but Brown Bear plays golf up to 113 degrees and the way to do it safely is by the following steps.
‼️Golf Public Service Announcement‼️ Desert golf in the summer is great. But I’m used to it. People around the country are facing unprecedented heat waves but you can still play safely. Take it from Brown Bear from Phoenix!!
1. Stay Hydrated! Bring lots of water and refill and drink constantly throughout the round.
2. Wear solar sleeves. Wet them frequently. Prevents sunburn but more importantly keeps you cool as the water evaporates of the fabric.
3. Wet frequently and wear a cooling towel or gaiter around your neck the whole round.
4. Wet your hair frequently.
5. Wear a hat and soak frequently.
6. Park in the shade when possible and play ready golf to speed up the round and reduce your time out there.
