More people should do it, honestly

I mean my putter is my best club so I use it more often than most. But this is wild

I was expecting to see someone hitting a putter from 75 yards out based on the title. That’s a totally normal place to putt from. Putter typically takes the really bad outcome out of the equation, which for almost all amateurs, is the smart play.

    Why wouldn’t he putt this

  5. SunnyMonkey17

Yeah at Sand Valley if I’m the caddie I’m encouraging putter in this situation and most others too.

I always put if I’m less the 2 ft from the green. Especially if there no bum to go over or if it’s going down hill. It’s better then trying to chip it and blading it to a bunker or something lol

Genuine question…. how does that track for putts on the scorecard? Is that considered a zero putt chip in because it came from off the green…. or is it a one putt because he used the putter?

If you’re looking for a putter to improve your game, look no further. I swear to god this putter installs a magnet in the ball when I putt. I cannot miss. I could be blindfolded with my hands superglued behind my back, and I would still make it from 100ft out. I’m not sure how this putter is legal because anytime I putt, the hole expands to the size of an iron ore quarry. Golf isn’t even fun for me anymore because I consistently average 1PPH every time I play . Even when I try to miss I can’t. I sold all my other clubs, because they are no longer necessary. I now putt from my tee box. 560 yard par 5? Putter. 180ft elevated green par 3? Putter. Late for my tee time with the boys? I pull my car over on the side of the highway, pull my putter out of the trunk, then proceed to drive to the golf course to retrieve my ball from the first hole. My phone’s dead and can’t find a local course? No problem. I simply putt a ball, then follow it to the nearest green. This putter has better tracking skills than Liam Neeson. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I choose to believe that this is AI.

If it’s real, I hope this guy gets hit by lightning or something on the way to the next hole.

I chip any chance I get, but would never chip from there

There’s two god damned Ts in the word.

If the lie is good that’s a putter for sure.

If there is any digging to do not so much but if the ball is clear for a flat face to hit and nothing to lift it over it’s a putter every time.

Also a hybrid is a good shout to clear a little fluff.

Sorry to be a downer but really poor camera work here.

  18. Vertical video.

Text covering the player hitting the ball.

Cameraman who can’t track a ball for his life.

    Questionable questioning of the play.

    Excellent sledging.

    Gotta love reddit golf videos.

If you can pitch it, pitch it. If you can chip it, chip it. If you can putt it, putt it. Simplify the game for yourselves.

About 20 years ago, I got paired up with an old Chinese guy for an early morning round. Throughout the morning, we were chatting a bit and just enjoying the day.

Somewhere in the middle of the back nine, we were both about 20 feet off the green with a similar shot. We both grabbed our wedges. I chunked my chip shot and left it about 30 feet short of the pin. He calmly puts his wedge back in his bag, grabs his putter, and puts it inside 5 feet.

He looks me dead in the eyes, and with a thick Chinese accent (which he did NOT have in normal conversation), he says, “Old Chinese proverb: bad putt always better than bad chip.”

I lost it. But the advice has stuck with me.

I always putt in a situation like that. the pros say the best way for a sorry weekend golfer to save strokes is to use a putter instead of a wedge to get onto the green like that.

  23. FishermanGlum9034

Great put. What kind of puter is that?

Is this AI? The shadow on the ball looks off
