We Got The NEW Golf Balls That Will KILL The 2026 Pro-V1!?
Golf balls are getting more and more expensive. But could these be the ball that stop you spending all your money on overpriced big brand name balls? Today we have the brand new Seed SD02 ball. And these could potentially be the best ball that you’ve ever seen for a budget price. We’re going to take them out Lindric today. We’re going to play the front nine and see just how good these could be because I’ve got a feeling you might want these instead. Oh, look at that. Look at that. That’s what you want, isn’t it? Yeah, that’s fired me up. That’s fired you for black pudding there. Anyway, let’s get to the first tea and see just how good these really are, gentlemen. Let’s see what he’s treating us to. What are you going for? I’ve had a new biscuit of young gash. Not sports makes. No, no sports. Controversial. Early feedback’s been strong with this ball. It’s already been named best DC ball in today’s golfers robot test. Oh, yeah. I read that. Yeah. Interesting that it had the magazine. So, it’s had the robot test and now it’s got the uh the Robinson and Dennis test. This is the Lynx ball and it’s coming out. I asked if it was under embargo and they said, “No, we don’t do that.” Which I quite We’d let Bobit one, but we don’t. We’ve only got a dozen. RIP to that last ball he hit at Providence in Florida. It’s amazing how they’ve got Al to hold that in it. They’re paying Al as a model. Soft cast urethane cover four piece construction crest. Tell for the price. I like the boxes. I like the boxes. Like they just scream like we’re trying to save a bit of money, don’t they? Well, have you seen what they started doing? No boxes. Correct. Again, just to save some some Yeah. cash. Yeah. And save the environment. Right, guys? So, front nine here at Lindrich. It’s winter. It’s cold. The target is six under. Think that’s a doable target? I believe it’s achievable. Got my best tease out again today, Jonesy. Every course is short and here we’ll be dancing round in the dryness. Come back. That’ll do. Wasn’t my best drive. Well, that’s fine. It’s not a bob. We’ll take it. Not a bob. He’s a homeowner now. You know, you can’t talk to him like that. He is the man. He is a homeowner. No seti yet. Oh, look at that. By the way, that’s outrageous. So, one of the things I’m looking for from a ball like this at this price is can we launch it how we want to? How does it scuff up? And how long does it last? But realistically, what is the distance like? Cuz into the wind today, that’s past the bunker and that’s a pretty good T-shot on the first. It is right. So, great drive by Chris. M’s okay. Just on the left hand side. This is like perfect conditions for testing a ball like this. It’s freezing cold. It could be warmer, but um it’s nice and windy as well. So we got eight eight iron. Yeah. One chip seven 30 flight. Yeah it does. It’s just Baltic, isn’t it? I think I’ve been this cold since saw grass. It passes the feel test though which is a big thing for a lot of people. It has to feel nice and soft. Oh dear. Lovely strike. It’s just going on the wind a bit. So, interestingly guys, do us a favor and get in the comments and let us know what ball you using. Is it a Titus? Is it a Tailor Made? Is it a Is it one of these more DTC brands like a Vice or a Seed or or something like that? And how much do you pay? Is it the wind that moved yours? Yeah. Strong up there. I mean, it’s safe, isn’t it? Yeah. It’s a long The wind had touched that one. Right. Two two flag high shots. Yeah. One rode on the wind and one stayed exactly where it was. But you can see here just how good Lindri looks at the moment. This is exactly why we’ve joined here for the winter because well not for the winter but it’s h is nice to have tell you what Bob. Should we get this out? Oh is this your marker? My ball marker. Have you not seen that? No. Luxury ball marker sent me this. So thank you. Not a paid ad, but um I do like a watch collection. So seen it. Why is Bob not seen it? Very good. That Bob, what happened to you on Sunday? Talk us through it. You had a bad day, didn’t you? Last Sunday, you had a very bad day. Wow. What happened? Bob can’t even remember. It can’t have been that bad, but he was texting us distraught. I thought it was the end of Bob. RIP. I mean, that’s not your best, my friend. No, it didn’t move. Chick-fil-A. Oh, Chick-fil-A was closed, wasn’t it? Took his misses on a birthday to Chick-fil-A. Take it to Chick-fil-A, you cheap. And it was closed. He walked past. He just made his route go four miles out of the way to pass. Turn. Turn. Stay down there. Good pace. Good pace, sir. What did you have, Bob? You have to be interested. Did you have steak and lobster? I did have steak because they do a weekend cut which is 25 steak and chips. Bob, stop kidding people. I don’t believe that. Bob Bob’s a millionaire. People just don’t realize it yet. What he’s telling you is he had that as a starter and then he had lobster thermodor after for £75. And how many bottles of veno did you tickle down, Bob? I bet he had a bottle of veno. 100%. There were no discount on that were they Bob? Right. Where’s me glove? Right. Come on. We need to make some birdies. First hole with a ball. I’m quite pleased with it. I don’t think we can really blame the ball for the lack of a birdie. No, it’s done its job. Good drive. Good second. Is a 57 in range here? No. No. It’s got to be tight to that corner, ain’t you? I know. Alex Hes. Nice shot. Yep. Perfect. We end. Nice low flight. Actually, I enjoyed that. Just caressed it down. Did you just a little nice shame? Yep, that’ll do. Right, we’ve run through the fairway there a little bit. Actually, little bit of mud on the ball, but that’s okay. I’ve got a chippy nine, Chris. Yeah, I like it. That flag’s right at the back, isn’t it? Yeah, it’s runny nose season where you’ll just hear a lot of Oh, that’s a cracking flight. A TBN. I don’t think I could have done better there. No, it came out lovely, didn’t it? Absolutely bloody lovely. That’s good as well. Yeah, I’ll take yours. Oh, baller. That’s an improvement. Do what do you all think to expensive golf balls? Because I think it’s almost a bit of an epidemic where golf balls just got more I mean, golf stuff in general got more and more expensive. Irons, drivers, obviously golf balls that we’re doing the video on today. And I think it it’s the big brand’s fault they’ve opened up that gap in the market for the DC brands such as Tacomao, such as Vice, such as Seed, such as all these other fantastic brands that are coming in 11. Yeah. Making great product just for more affordable everyday prices. Oh, what a se a true seagull that flag high again, which is always a good sign when testing any golf product. Chance for an own baller. Where have we pitched there? We could do with this going in. Reckon he’s all right though. Testing out his capabilities. Yeah. Oh, took a tree down. Didn’t move at all. I know. T Bob, that was the most ungracious ball pickup ever. One under. I love this hole. He’s seven enough or he’s going to come back to me. It’s coming back to you. Say, I’ll let you go for Oh, go on then. I’ll go. Bob’s just stood right where I’m going to peg it up. So, no. Pass it. Bob might be five. It’s all of it. Great shot. Get over. I didn’t see it down. It’s like jumped over the bunker. Oh, I think it’s on the fringe. That one. Not my best swing. I’ll be honest. What a strike. We’ll not say anything else about the shot, but it was a great strike. Big divot, but we’ll repair it. Is it summer yet? It’s only around the corner. How depressing. Right, let’s test it with a wedge. It actually did really well to get over the bunker that it wasn’t a good strike. Chris was flag high. Just a million miles left. Oo, but a green side control. Felt nice there. Lovely little flight again. Oh, go on then. Go on then. He’s got another He’s got another not about the reason why I’m enjoying this ball, I think, and why I’m so impressed with it is the cover. So, it’s a cast urethane cover, which means it’s going to feel nice and soft, but because it’s not that kind of sirine or ionima cover, it doesn’t launch immediately off the club face. launches that bit lower, then relies upon the spin rate to get the flight. So, that’s why I think I’m enjoying it so much. So, very similar to the likes of a Prov1 or a TP5 or a Chrome Tour, which they’re now called, aren’t they? Not bad tour. No par five to come. Right. I went to the darts at the weekend. Bob, did you have a good time? Yeah. I bought a Luke Little shirt. Did you? Yeah. Not get it sign. Not get it front. Get amongst it. No, we could afford to get it front. Right. Can we carry the bunkers? Yes. Big test. Can we see it? No. Hit it good. I can’t see where it’s gone. Any ideas? I think it was straight over the to be fair. It should be. It was that little towy one, you know. It should just bit of top spin on it. Yeah. I’ll play safe just in case. Can’t see for the sun. It’s four iron. Four iron I hit the other day. I can’t even see that. I’m not going to lie. No idea. Must be straight down the middle. Must. Yeah, must be. Hello. You all right? Morning. Seven iron Christopher. Yeah, it’s six. Yeah. Oh, that could be good. That you know should be good. Yeah, that’s good. It’s just a million miles left again. Yeah, it was a bit left that one. Think it’s gone. Right. Really impressed with the drive there. We didn’t want to be overly loud cuz there were some uh ladies playing on that green. But really good shot to carry those bunkers. Really impressed with the ball flight we got. I’m really impressed with where it’s finished. We’re here on the par five. Little chip and a putt. That’s you number one. That’s me. You were a tiny bit further left. Did you hit six? You’ll probably be longer. I’m on the middle of the green, which is a concern. One of them kids who looks up at planes, right? This is for an own ball eagle. gone after that, haven’t I? He’s not going to be happy with that. Is he at the actual green? He will not be happy with that as an attempt. You know, the thing is because it’s on this winter green now, the beauty about it is you don’t have to walk down there and back up the hill. But he’s had to walk down there and back up the hill anyway. Look at him here. You all right? Ah, I ain’t it that close all year. Um, you probably won’t be happy with my attempt. I was a bit overly aggressive. That’s poor. It was for ball eagles, so it can be forgiven. Oh, now we’re putting that your heart rate get back down a bit. Sound like Brett. Can I do a video with Brett and Gaz on? I don’t think viewership will be up. You’ve all heard of Darth Vader. We’ve got two of them here. Well done, Chris. Two under through four. Not bad at all. That will do. I think as a winter golf course, there’s some holes that play even better than in the summer. The next is a good T-shot from the winter tea as well. How much of the right can we cut off? He can go like 10 yards further right than where that guy is. Yeah. Yeah. Like that’s perfect there. That was silky smooth. I do feel like that ball’s launching like through a really nice window. Impressed so far. Very impressed. Not just for a winter ball either. I think for a a contender if you if you are in that urethane ball market. Nice. It’s fine. But well, you can fight it lower like that. Yours will be the ball. Wine gum roulette. What you hoping for? Red. What would you be disappointed with? Black or green? No, yellow. In between. Come on, Bob. You know you’re on a game. You can’t look. Oh, old peeping Tommy. Oh, now I got a red. That’s unbelievable. What a really pleased with that, Bob. More pleased if I got a red wine gum, but can’t all cheat, can we? Right. Can we fly this down? Now, having the ability to fly ball up and down can massively save your shots. Not just with obviously the making of the ball, but obviously with like technique and skill. And trusty n iron again. Yeah, same as on the second. Oh, yes. A good flight. I certainly feel like it’s doing what I want it to do. That easy golf flag high just left of it. That flag just left of it. Yeah, just inside. Two decent shots. Yeah. A chance. Who’s we taking Bob? Is it number one? Number two. Chris’s numero dos. I’ll just get Look at the stop. Look at the control of the SD0s. Very good. Right. Big left or right? Stay there. Stay there. It’s at the end. It turns at just inside of that. Come on. Oh, it doesn’t at the end, does it? Stayed. Mine went. Yours didn’t. P. I enjoyed it as a put as well. Good pace. What a delightful hole this is. Yeah, it’s a good hole again from this side. Have you got wedge? No, I’ve got a little eight to chipini. A littleer. I’ve got a little nine. I think it’s nine all day. This can’t blame more than 100, can it? Be good. I’ll tell you what. That’s got to be there. It’s got to be a it. Oh, it’s a Oh, I’ll tell you what that is. That’s a Hong Kong tea. That little short stubby one. Fact of the day. That you know what that felt like? A James Robinson fact. You know, he always hits us with Bob. A random fact. You haven’t done that for a while, haven’t I? Yeah. Well, this will be in his mind. I told you what the only the only fully flood lit motorway network was in the world literally last week. Yeah, he did. Remember where it is? Belgium. There you go. Right. Come on then. Let’s see it. That’s exactly how I wanted to play that, you know, as well. It’s lower. Good flight. Divots. Look where the divot is after that T. I think we’re taking Chris’s though. I think so. How’s it stopped there? Landed there. Should have kicked on referee. Thought you matrix then Bob. [Music] Turn. Turn hard. Great pace. It forgot to turn, didn’t it? Chippy, what was that? Trousers gone. Did you hear that? Trousers have gone. My coat. The old split trousers. Trouser gate. Great effort. Do quite like it to chip with. Does it feel nice and soft? I think soft as a ball. It spins enough, but it still feels fairly soft. Maybe that doesn’t hit that pitch mark. It’s delightful. You like that other one actually, the one James got about the excursions and stuff. I thought, do you know who the man for an excursion is? Oh, Micious. Yeah, Bob’s an excursion man. I do like an excursion. I bet you do. Boat day. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it’s about that’s about right. Bob, you’ll be that person in Dubai on the boat. What’s wrong? Partying smugglers on. Yeah, great ball speedos. Oh, Bob sitting and weed. He doesn’t know the end of year reviews coming, does he, Chris? No. Well, we’re potentially end of year reviewing with Chick-fil-A on Saturday, but it looks like it’s me and you. Yeah. And then I thought, should we have end of year review maybe like on a Monday in December when he works? But no, wait. Sorry. Can’t do that. Oh no, definitely not. Oh dear. That we’re getting it that one. Yeah. To say it’s onehanded, that’s really good. Yeah. Lovely. It’s all right. Yeah. Sunday. Not Sunday. What do you think, Bob? You had an incident last week. Oh, five iron. Bob, what are you telling us here? I’ve got four iron. You best watch out in the old uh show. Oh, he’s lost it. What do you want about? He’s lost it. You asked me to tell the story. Yeah, but you need to embellish, did you? I didn’t embellish. What you want? You want some? Oh, how’s it going? You do look a bit like it. Oh, great fly. It was the exact strike I wanted. I just moved off it a bit. I think it’s on the green that just left side. The wind’s got up and it What a golf shot that is. That’s coming in like dead dick, is it? That see that that spin rate on that must have been so low. just caress it. I’m enjoying the the variance of shots we’re able to hit with it. Yeah, it’s a great ball. Feel like it feels like a premium ball in that regard. I do like it. Bob thinks I’m sending me 2-year-old to David Beckham Soccer School here. 90 minutes full project. Full pitch. Oh, that’s such a millennial thing to say. Project Mbappe. Go on then. Go on then. I never move that. I go left edge. Oh dear. Well, we’ve got the four. Just need it in, didn’t it? Just needed a bit more. means he’s going for this one. Tying the lace downwind this has it. But it never plays downwind this hole until today. Big turn fast takeaway. Oh yes. Keep coming back. Just down the right side. None the wiser. None the wiser. up. That’s all over it, by the way. Oh, I think it’s jumped straight over that middle trap. That got the full sausage and egg that it looks your shoelaces that had fallen over that were woped. Technical term. When we talk about flag high, we usually talk about second shots that I’ve never driven this green. How is FAI in all you all the way over there? In all the attempts of using expensive drivers and expensive provo driver and a C ball that’s put us there. Let’s roll with it in home ball eagle take the lead in the eagle count. Oh yeah, cuz there’s that still to play for, isn’t it? Yeah. Loser pays for cheap for life, but we just heard Bob can’t make it. So Bob can’t make his annual review. It’s become a bit cheaper. I don’t know. The worst thing is he doesn’t know what we’re going to tell him at this annual annual review either, does he? No, he doesn’t. There’s a few things to discuss. Oh, it’s another one. It’s in the jaws. It’s not If it’s not Pete blowing his garden, we got a Cessna flying over putting us off. That’s probably Pete as well. That’s probably is Pete. I tell it’s a bit blustery to be up there in one of them though, isn’t it? Yeah. Rather him than me. Well, it’s identical. It’s a three. Really enjoyed that as a as a hole. Right. This is quite a difficult drive now, isn’t it? Cuz you can’t just hug the tree line like on the summer tea. I do like it from here, actually. You do like it. Yeah. Send it to the edge of that building. Left edge of the building. Well, the corner. It’s on the right of the flag. And then just fettle it back. Yeah. Wind’s off left in it. So, it’s going to move that way. Just stayed there, is it? Yeah. That’s fine there. That is left of the quarry. It’s actually a good line in a good line in. Exceptional. Just being positive. That’s what we got to be. Got to be positive when you’ve got Bob behind you. Just like Bob arriving to his performance review. He’s got to think positive, haven’t he? He’s Well, what you’ve got to pray. Yeah. See? Yeah. And that’s the other positive about cheap golf balls or should I say cheaper golf balls cuz I don’t think we’ll even look for that. No. That’s a terrible golf shot. Well, I’ve been left and right today, Bob. Sixes and sevens. Yeah, some would say. Right, as you said, Chris, that’s uh pretty much position A, isn’t it? I’ve never been here, actually. We’re usually over on the right level nine. Straight at that tree. Straight at the flag. Be good. Be good. Yeah. Oh, I’m really impressed by this bottle. Yeah, really impressed. You and me both. Come, Bob. Um, if we bury this hole, Bob. No. What? What was the question? He’s asking if you have some balls. Yeah. Well, if you could turn. Yeah. If you can make your performance review, maybe. We’ve booked it in and everything. Best table at Chick-fil-A. Yeah. Good shot. That’ll do. Very good. A chance. A chance. Yeah. Pleased with that, actually. Do we go uphill or yours, Chris? I’ll let you decide. I think we go yours because end of the day, we need to make it, don’t we? More likely to make the downhiller. Left edge. We got it. Oh, he’s burnt the edge. I thought that was going to stay short. Guys, that is a fantastic golf ball option for anybody who’s wanting to save themselves a little money. The Seed SD02, it’s a new generation of that ball. Make sure you check it out, guys. If you enjoyed that, smash that subscribe button below. Thank you ever so much. Four under, Chris. Four under. Not bad. Yeah, room for improvement, I think. Definitely. See you tomorrow.

I have played golf for 51 years now ( 65yo and play off a 7.3) and have played about every ball out there and have shot low scores with some shitty ball just as easy as a playing a ProV1 , TP5 or a different $50 dollar ball.
If you strike the ball good and keep it in play it doesn't mater what ball you play , its all bullshit !!!
Just play what your pocket book can afford and focus on building a repetitive swing and your game wont care what ball you play !!!!!
Well played guy’s
Been using Pro V1s forever, but last year I bought Seed 1 and X1s and I love them
Taylormade Tour Response lake balls.
Kirkland value all day long. Second hand even better. As for second hand or lake balls losing compression not an issue with golf balls over the last 10/15 years.
Still picking on the poor little Champagne Bobster 🍾🍾🍾
(Bobster Thermidor)
This would be boring, if not for the noise pollution.
I use the Vice ball. It seems to suit me best. I may have to try the Seed after seeing this video.
Senior golfer from Eugene, Oregon. Cold, wind, rain 5+ months of the year. Wilson Triad now in play, but would give the Seed a go. Cheers, James and Chris.
V300 I'm using at the moment. Because my golf not going good right now
I would of just had the breakfast and gone home
The SNYDER Ace is a ball you need to try James. You would stop playing the Seed immediately…
I currently love the Srixon diamonds I got in the summer the Masters 2025 version with yellow decal and green speckled paint – £75 delivered for 24 balls late last summer – lost a dozen in Portugal 🇵🇹
Trufeel all the way.
Tbh I gave up on provs years ago cos of the price. I have in my mind 30 for a dozen so triads are perfect. In the winter I'll pretty much use anything. Do like a pro v though for short game.
I don’t have Direct to Customer, I have Lake to Tee.
Wilson Triad all the way but will give these balls a try.
Chris playing military golf? Left, Right, Left, Right.
Come on @jamesrobinsongolf lets have more facts of the day 😂
Winter use the kirkland v3.0 summer srixon z-star diamond
Been using Callaway supersoft splatter, but last few rounds been using Bridgestone e6 soft as won 12 dozen boxes of them but have got rid of 8 boxes and kept 4 boxes so using the.
Srixon AD333, not too expensive and decent quality, of all the balls I’ve tried they seem to suit me best.
I’m a frequent flyer on both your channels. Three of the members of my weekly foursome are now using Seed Golf balls, 05 & 15. Additionally we’ve adopted the term “bounding down the fairway”! BTW we are in WA State. Golfing tomorrow…..Low 36 degree high of 52. Love you guys!
Count me as a Seed SD-15 player. Love them Loosies!
I've used seed balls in the past and enjoyed them. Unfortunately, they were really poor in honouring the subscription and I ended up cancelling. For winter golf I'm probably be using the Amazon basic which has been great or the Wilson who soft track 360. Looking forward to the new next 100 series.
I swapped from TP5X pix to Seed 02. Not as cool looking but so much cheaper and can't notice much difference between the two.
Good as they may be they won't kill the Pro V1. Too many golfers are wedded to them. And if looking at alternatives the choice is vast.
SEED SD-15, in Texas
Maxfli Tour X for me, though sadly not available this side of the pond. Fortunately, family and US work colleagues keep me topped up, and at around £25 a dozen for their 4 box deal at current exchange rates, they’re a fantastic ball. Winning on the PGA tour too courtesy of Ben Griffin.
