Blink and you might miss him. Once celebrated as one of the fastest rising talents on the European tour, Ronaldo Perritorii seemed to vanish in 2022 and again in 2024. Now, after years of struggle, the Italian is ready to return. This time with confidence and momentum following a dominant three- win season on the hotel planner challenge tour captured consecutive victories at the UAE challenge and Abu Dhabi challenge in April before capping the season with triumph at the Hainan Open in October. These victories earned him automatic promotion back to the DP World Tour after losing his card last season. Speaking to bunker.co.uk, UK Parritorial highs of his comeback. This year brought me great joy. I love winning. I love being in contention. The final 18 holes of my first win this year were really emotional because I thought I might never win again. He said, “Years of inconsistency had shaken territory confidence. When you struggle year after year, you begin to doubt if you can do it again. But I kept grinding, kept fighting, and that determination put me back in the winner’s circle. Perriator’s journey has been a roller coaster. He first burst onto the scene as a prodigy in 2014, earning his DP World Tour card at just 17 after competing in European Tour Q School. Early career highlights included gold at the 2014 Youth Olympics and victories at the Nordia Masters in 2017 and the British Masters in 2020. Yet setbacks followed. In 2022, he lost his card by a single spot on the race to Dubai rankings and narrowly missed regaining it at qualifying school. A similar blow came in 2024, leaving Perriator to rebuild on the challenge tour. The beginning of last season was tough. It was a new experience coming off a year of poor results, Perritori admitted. But I told myself, I’m still playing golf at a high level. Focus on winning a DP World Tour Card. Winning under these circumstances feels even better than winning when everything is going well. Now, Perriator is ready to start a fresh. He’ll begin his 2026 campaign in Australia, participating in the first four events, including the BMW Australian PGA Championship. When someone wins, someone loses. That’s the reality of sport. I accept that, he said. If I have my game back, I can compete at a high level again. My focus is simple. Play well and let the results take care of themselves. For Peratori, this isn’t just a return to the DP World Tour. It’s a chance to reclaim the trajectory that once made him one of Europe’s brightest young talents.
