Sold my racing sim after deep diving into golf this year. I’ve been playing as a weekend warrior for 8 years but this year I took lessons and really improved. I’m a stroke off single digits so I needed to practice in the winter being up in the northeast. Picked up a Launch Pro, my buddies old gaming PC, and a used eBay projector. I indulged in the Sig Pro softy because I need the forgiveness for the steep angle of attack. Built the enclosure with some conduit, duck canvas, and a temu 3 ply hitting screen. I was really surprised with the quality of the screen for $125.00. I think it won’t be as durable as name brand. Overall, super happy with it. I’ll be able to teach my girl to golf for next season and I can get better in the off season. With five minutes of setup and tear down we can park a car right back in the single bay. All said and done I spent $5,000 for everything and spent about 10 hours cutting, grommeting, etc.

That’s dope I think I need a pin light for my setup
I have the Temu screen and it’s so quiet you can’t even hear me hitting golf balls in the house at all
Love this! And thank you for mentioning your racing sim hobby. I don’t have a wheel but I’ve been looking into getting one at some point and there’s some pretty nice deals going on right now but I’d rather save the money for a golf sim. I am saving this post as I hope to be in your shoes in a few years once I move into my own place.
