Course exactly 60 years ago on the day wow man I you know when you look in someone’s eyes as an athlete you know when you can see this guy is gas I’m coming for him and he’s not going to last 3 minutes is a lifetime for him right now so you saw I think he had momentum didn’t know what to do he couldn’t back off because um lamon roach’s accuracy he had found his reach beautifully M look the one thing there’ll be is super physical as well after going after having that loss and also remember both sides expected to win next week I think it’s Scotland against Ireland if I’m not mistaken uh oh against France sorry yeah next we oh next week they both should win their yeah they both should Scotland play Italy one of playing yes so this is sort of the final this weekend that right with a lot of people are saying I took that me because of that kiss chante’s GL and then said down and you know I think yeah anyways that’s actually really smart of the tank to be able to summarize and think like that um you know under so much pressure yo what’s up everybody welcome back to another special episode of Vibes and victories and of course as you guys can see I’m not the only handsome fellow here to my right I’ve got what’s up what’s up how you doing brother good to see you man and to my left I’ve gotun F how brother you are yeah man without wasting any more time today’s episode is going to be very special we got so many interesting topics all right starting from who is leading the front who or who is the front runner of the South African teams in the URC and of course the biggest debate of who is taking the six in2 very interesting topic man and let’s get straight into it with our retro results with sports s s what do you have for us today yeah man you know uh this past weekend wasn’t too busy it was the same old stuff but uh the league was off in the Premier League so we had a bit of FA Cup uh and the sweetest result out of those was man united got knocked out full yeah yeah thank that was quite nice one went to a penalty shootout and uh man uned uh got knocked out 4 to3 in the penalty shoots out with a with a great save by the German goalkeeper there for Fulham so that means Fulham went through there and then um another potential upset there which was uh Newcastle lost to Brighton 2-1 after extra time so that was quite an interesting result given uh Newcastle all the money they’ve got and all the players they got um funny if you look then at the odds of those two games basically in the 90 minutes they would have both ended in draws so that was quite interesting the odds on the Manu game for withraw was 5 to2 and the odds for the Newcastle game for withdraw was almost 3 to1 so if you had just gone that sneaky double there you know you would have probably made ,000 Rand from 100 Rand or or 10,000 from a thousand so yeah that that’s quite interesting uh I think in these Cup competitions you got to kind of look into those draw results because it’s a one one and done situation so then um guys are playing quite cautiously and obviously uh they don’t want to get knocked out that day they want to continue in the competition so it’s always a tasty bet to look at when it comes to Cup competitions um I think even in La Liga and all of that the rest of the results yeah man city went through quite easily 3-1 um and those were the football results that kind of stood out for this past weekend in the FA Cup and then on the rugby results I’m sure you guys have an opinion here uh sharks got trounced quite badly I saw the score is 24 n at some stage it ended up finishing uh 3814 and then um Lions beat the Sharks 3814 and then the Bulls at home fud your team yeah man you lost what a game you lost what a game we’ll dig into that what a game like four hours 4 hours of a fortress lofters loved it but look the loss is never nice it stings as well when you lose to the stormers in Petoria sure so yeah anyway swiftly moving along yeah then other results for uh in the USC uh beyond the borders was uh ler beat Carter 42 14 quite an interesting game it was almost a tie game at half time ler were up 1412 and then Glasgow Glasgow warriors were strong favorites at home in that game they got pipped to the post by ospre and there was a tasty price of 4 to1 um so you called that you you’re quite a genius you you suede the S if you come on now oh yeah yeah coming from you mate okay I’ll take it then we’ got and then we’ve got the pro tiers the pro tiers are through they playing in The Knockout uh this week uh we’ll see hopefully it went well by the time you see this and hopefully you’ll be preparing for us to see the finals on Sunday let’s see if uh the the proas can get rid of that choker tag I think for me the big result of the weekend a retro results it’s got to be the first player yes uh uh of color uh to win the South African the second oldest golf tournaments in the world uh the South African open Dylan Naidu came clutch in the rain one playoff hole and and he’s the first uh um winner of a of of a major trophy um player of color so that’s 27 years old even yeah that’s quite awesome character awesome character I yeah it’s quite crazy yeah it was quite um interesting uh one wish the one was down there it was that iconic old lady Durban Country Club uh the irony behind the whole occasion you know you couldn’t giving and everything usually gets done on the green and so hence he received um the prize um in the rain but he’s the first player of color to win the sa open second all this championship in the world and uh yeah up upwards and onwards for him he’s playing in the jobber open this weekend at hton so must get out there and support the young man where is that M and’s five bar cool five bar yeah yeah yeah yeah you know damn buy a he win it buy a part they get paid in Euros remember it’s a DP world yeah so he wanted in a playoff hle wait is that five bar in rans when you converted yeah in rans yeah yeah yeah but that’s still enough it’s more than either of us sitting here it’s aot it’s a bucketload of money but it the best thing about those uh winning that kind of tournament is that you get exemption into the British major the major of the year uh and then you get other exemptions which allows you to win more money more Euros more dollars so that’s the best part of that um and now you’ll probably find that he’ll be very free when he plays this weekend at Halton because it’s a golf course he knows the best he’s a jber boy he’s played it the most and now he hasn’t got the pressure of having to win so um get out there H and golf club go see the boy play um he’s quite impressive nice so what day is that mate that’s over the weekend it starts on Thursday it ends on Sunday yeah Fantastic Four Days of golf yeah Fantastical mate now awesome stuff um so that is Dylan naid congratulations to you mate what a story what a story HH out in the Plasma energies yeah I’m just impressed countering I think when you’re the tank Davis and you’re on the back foot like that you don’t know what to do and you actually take a knee which is smart I’m not going to lie it is smart but for Honor for Pride yeah it was quite uh excuse the pun there that you said roach had more heard that but yeah look I I look I watched all 12 rounds I think it was quite evenly matched I think that knee actually cost him more than it actually helped him you think you would have won not a chance I think he would have won on a split decision yeah if you look if you look at the rounds getting knocked think France aren’t going to fold uh um after losing to England by that one point two weeks back so I think they’re going to want to come back with a bit of a bit of Vengeance um but Island at home they’ve really done the Triple Crown it’s almost like a victory victory lap Victory lap they went on Saturday they’ve won the tournaments uh and they’ve won the Triple Crown back to back to back so yeah it’s going to be a hard Run for the French but if anyone can do it I think the French are the ones that could maybe turn it on a bit but um and they’re also they’re licking their wounds they will be super dangerous mate look the one thing they’ll be is super physical as well after going after having that loss and also remember both sides expected to win next week I think it’s Scotland against the Clippers third top scorer for the Lakers it’s looking like a match made in heaven man listen yeah what’s what’s your thoughts then no I’m loving it as a as a LeBron James fan I’m going to make this clear if LeBron would go to another team tomorrow I’d follow him right but because of the Lakers right now I this it excites me man so are they going to the are they going all the way up listen Lakers in five that’s all I’m going saying are they going all the way up Lakers in five that that that that team looks hella dope now and I saw them play the Mavs and I saw D Luca shouting at the bench um they they’re quite dope and and and LeBron even confesses that uh there’s not many better players that he’s ever played with um the guy is a point guard he Tribbles the ball he dunks he he shoots threes he he’s got the whole package can we talk about his defense now yeah and he can defend and you know he’s he’s he’s dope he’s he’s the whole package and I think he’s got something to prove against his old owners um and now he’s playing with arguably one of the greatest players of all time so it’s it’s it’s could be a match made in heaven nice one I think it is um yeah so that’s I’ll start at the top with the sweet ones on a good note even though it was disappointing my blood is blue I was actually at Fortress Loft just this past weekend I tell you what made they made a lot of money the the bartenders there because of the rain and everything I think it was like an extra 4 hours or something it was a part no one went home by the way some guys chilled there and this is what my sweet moment of the weekend some guys chilled there and and actually instead of streaking with jumping through the puddles like I’m sure a lot of borders did if you went to an old boy school you’ll know you’ll know a little bit about that in the raining in the rainy season they run past the the security and then in the end they come back they grab some brooms and they help sweep off the water um to help drain drain the field to such an extent they did such a well job that the game was able to continue which was fantastic to see much to the Delight of all the fans and it was actually quite a thrilling game as well quite close they lost 16 points to 19 but that was my and those those guys helping out yeah just a quick quip there I like that that took me back to 95 SN maybe you went around you may not know that and we once played the French in the semi-finals in Durban and it was rained out two and a half hour delay and they had to get the squeegees out they had about 40 odd ladies squeeing the field getting the water off the pitch if the game didn’t go ahead that day I think they had uh something like 10 or 15 minutes left uh in their time uh TV time or broadcast time if the game didn’t start by a certain time uh it would have been a draw and we would have lost we wouldn’t have gone into 95 World Cup final we eventually won for the first time because we would have lost on disciplinary hearing because we got more red cards during the tournaments there was at box up I love the encyclopedia got red cards which was also a messy game yeah yeah maybe one day I think it was like 10 oh no it was crazy maybe one day we’ll get all old bullet dson in here and have a CH the call make the call yeah so that kind of reminded me of that moment sorry no but n please man that makes it even sweeter so that is the sweetness of this past weekend you know great memories of 1995 and what could have or could not have been if there was no one there to help sweet that water jeez fans getting involved that’s South Africa for you love it um sour I don’t like that the tank Davies versus Roach thing for me it left a sour taste in my in my mouth you know um there’s so much behind the scenes Showmanship especially on the back of Mike Tyson um Jake Paul fight you know with that being whatnot I didn’t like that knee I thought I would have liked to see a good fight go all the way to the end and that left a bit of taste in my mouth so sour that is my sour I don’t think you guys would ever com go to the end though yeah yeah yeah yeah no I know but was it KN was it 8 island of slot favorites at 9 to 10 and um France are 21 to 10 so you double your money there if you back France with handicap the points and a half so that’s not a bad little bet there um either way that’s not a Bad Bet to be fair because if you’re a strong support of Ireland 9 to 10 that’s almost even money that’s a great bet to take the other game strong favorites Scotland Wales Scotland at 1 to 10 16-point handicap England Italy they’ve got about a 22-point handicap there England obviously expected to win then you got blues with brmes I think this is oddly priced at 2 to10 and 7 to2 with a 12 and 1 Half Point handicap obviously in favor of the Blues um fan draw I know you like a bit of that I love that but they’re playing uh the defending champs and the on formed team the Chiefs but fan dra is at home then we’ve got an interesting one the Mana Pacifica game yeah 28 to 10 that’s my thing right there Super Saiyan M for the mo pafic so ad is playing against his former team uh with as the new captain of and it’s also tanaga the coaches former so they’ll be pretty fired up for that two of my favorites yeah um and then the Australian Derby it’s the warar against the force warar are quite strong favorites there at 3 to10 Force at 5 to2 war and then we’ve got um another Derby uh I think it’s a match that maybe didn’t get played can you just say the handicap for that one the handicap for waro Force it’s eight and a half points on that one and then we’ve got sharks with lions um those odds aren’t up yet but I ventured to say that Lions may be slight favorites after last weekend yeah even the sharks are at home um it’s different it’s a different thing going to the Shark Tank the lion swimming with the sharks there it’s going to be tricky it’s going to be tricky especially with the sharks limping a little bit but um it’s been interesting I’ve loved the South African tobies they’ve been really really cool over the last couple of weeks they’ve been very unpredictable unpredictable true story very tight um yeah surprises left right and Center news coming in h Po’s coming to the vo oh my goodness Hey listen man check out the UR some good stuff happening out there yeah yeah we should talk about that deal 30 Bar L um thank you to um Mr Rupert but um yeah that’s a conversation did you say 30 bar did you say 30 bar yes guys are getting paid putting numbers on the table boy yeah then eppl yeah eepl the games are Forest play Man City uh forest or 8 to 10 9 to 10 Man City Liverpool 1 to 10 at home 17 to1 Southampton that should be they should sh in there where’s the Manchester City game blade um Nottingham up at Nottingham at Nottingham forest forest so that’s quite an interesting One Forest at home uh they’re almost just under 3 to1 28 to 10 okay and then uh Chelsea at home to Leicester um I tell you something for nothing I might take a Leicester plus draw there Leicester 10 to1 and Chelsea are 2 to1 I’m just saying that jabing at this guy next to me and then um Tottenham on Sunday I think it’s Sunday Tottenham play Bournemouth um they’re pretty evenly priced at 14 and 17 to 10 each and then the big game for the weekend Manchester United the one that just be knocked out of FA Cup I like that by a bird Leno by an old Arsenal you know Legend but they knocked us out so we got no room to talk here F yeah Manchester United at 7 to2 and Arsenal 9 to10 man you’re playing Old Trafford at Old Trafford so theat of nightmares yeah it’s quite interesting out of those sayaa what’s your what’s your topic for the weekend there tough one tough one it has to be the Hurricanes game though come on bro I think that what have you seen the stats and what’s happening what a S is doing here mate so when he gave that speech right going into Moana Pacifica and when I saw um Tana Umaga um introduce him you can feel it mate it looked like they were in you know a classroom or something those old classrooms you know that you would have seen you know and and when he spoke there it felt like Jes like do you have more in the tank you still got an extra gear man we’ve saw see saw you at the World Cup we’ve seen what you’ve been able to do for the Hurricanes Etc and um somehow he’s doing it in a team that and he’s doing everything mate he’s doing I think he had five Ruck turnovers ridiculous made ridiculous numbers he’s on top of the charts for the past three weeks in a row so yeah scored a crazy triy they lost last game two points they lost last weekend by one point um humble enough for the press conference also to make everyone stand and have a prayer and thank the Lord as he does yeah no he’s a true uh true warrior that one ium that’s your top no no so you you were picking that but thinking who’s going to win that game though I talk odds I don’t just talk emotion definitely definitely Moana Pacific my friend okay so there’s a little dispute you guys can have yeah yeah so look that’ll be think my pick for the weekend is definitely isand vers France I think that could be an absolute cracker good odds as well odd good either way you choose the odds are very good um doesn’t get much better than that for me this weekend but in terms of my top six picks for the weekend I’ll definitely go man united Arsenal uh I’ll be leaning towards the Arsenal win or Draw there um with the Australian Derby I’ll look at waras to win by the handicap of 8 and a half that’ll give you even money um for G and Dre and Chiefs uh unfortunately I see Chiefs winning by the handicap at 10 points there um I would definitely go in and take uh England to win by 22 points points I’d also jump in to Ireland to win with that 9 to1 UM price that they’ve got on them uh the one that I disagree with probably where I might go against the heel here is go Wales um possibly at plus 16 and a half points uh I think they were quite good last week I think they were better than I expected them to be I think I lost a bunch of money but going against them um so I think maybe with the new coach they’ve got a a new something’s happening who they playing who they playing they playing Scotland at home Scotland at home Wes away yeah hey yeah and Scotland’s is a bit wonky isn’t it and Finn Russell’s under deep a lot of pressure missing that kick yeah for them to win that game so yeah very interesting yeah it’s a nice one that’s a nice yeah so those are those are my basic six picks for the weekend uh outside of that uh the rest of the stuff doesn’t have too much value um a nice little upset is maybe looking at Forest to beat Man City yeah yeah yeah I hope they do and you SN give us some of your sniper strike what’s up with what’s happening with you what do you think with the shots and plays of the weekend yeah man moving on straight along to snipers strike uh first of all I have to give I have to pay homage man I have to pay homage to the UJ boys they they played a very good game even
