I have my AP2 714 iron set that I absolutely cannot part with, even after playing them since 2015 and after 2 club fittings in the last 3 years. I know it’s not one club but I felt there were some out there that could relate when constantly hearing the daily hype of new clubs. A putter will be the least likely to evolve from technological advances so keep that shit my friend and don’t let anyone tell you differently.

I’ve been playing over 30 years. I still have almost every putter I’ve ever used. Putters rarely become technologically obsolete. I love rolling a few with one I used in high school every now and then.

My old odyssey 2 ball.
I had a little extra cash and bought a Scotty Newport. Loved that putter. It, and all my wedges, were in my truck when it got stolen. I’m sure it wound up in a pawn shop somewhere and my two ball is comfy back in the bag.

I have a Wilson putter than my grandpa gave me when I was a kid. Over the years, I have bought and sold several other putters and always find myself going back to the trusty old Wilson. It’s been re-gripped several times and I have a hard time envisioning any time where I won’t game it.
If you’re looking for a putter to improve your game, look no further. I swear to god this putter installs a magnet in the ball when I putt. I cannot miss. I could be blindfolded with my hands superglued behind my back, and I would still make it from 100ft out. I’m not sure how this putter is legal because anytime I putt, the hole expands to the size of an iron ore quarry. Golf isn’t even fun for me anymore because I consistently average 1PPH every time I play . Even when I try to miss I can’t. I sold all my other clubs, because they are no longer necessary. I now putt from my tee box. 560 yard par 5? Putter. 180ft elevated green par 3? Putter. Late for my tee time with the boys? I pull my car over on the side of the highway, pull my putter out of the trunk, then proceed to drive to the golf course to retrieve my ball from the first hole. My phone’s dead and can’t find a local course? No problem. I simply putt a ball, then follow it to the nearest green. This putter has better tracking skills than Liam Neeson. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I still rock an old Ping Isopur. I’m just starting to figure it out
I have the same ‘Anser’. The first and only putter I’ve ever had. It was a hand me down from my Dad when I started golfing 20 years ago. Genuinely curious if anyone knows how old this puppy is?

I was gifted a Scotty phantom x 5.5 last year that I love, but I do find myself going back to my old Odyssey White Hot Tour #1. It’s the hardest thing for me to let go of

50 years playing with the one on the right. My only putter I’ve ever used. One on the left I got this year that my son is using. Also around 50 years old.
My Nike SVT 52.10 was my first wedge. Never found a good reason to take it out of the bag.

I have a clearance bin Callaway diablo 3/5 wood pair I’ll never get rid of. I hit those 2 clubs better than any clubs in my bag.
The clubhouse custom ordered them and the guy never came back so I got them for $50 each brand new. I think that was about 15 years ago. The pro shop guy said they were setup in a way to where no one would be fitted for them. They do not fail me ever
It’s always a putter right? To be fair, my whole bag is made up of clubs purchased prior to the great financial crisis, but the putter will never wear out, and really never be obsolete.
I bought my Scotty Cameron – Newport Beach back in ~2002, when I was about 13 and the putter less than a year old.
I haunted the pro shop in those days, and the assistant had purchased it new, but ultimately decided he wanted a mallet. He sold it to me for $100 in perfect shape, with divot tool and red headcover.
Both the divot tool and the headcover were eventually lost, but the course taketh and giveth – they were replaced by another Scotty divot tool I found, and another red Scotty headcover I found, though this one isn’t quite the same one as the original.
There have been other putters in between, but this one will always be around. I don’t play nearly as much as I used to now that I have toddlers, but it’s been the full time gamer for close to 2 decades

My Titleist 905R driver – about 20 years old. It just works! I also play MP-30s, a little older, but that’s more a “they work so why spend $1500 on a new set” than I just don’t WANT to replace the clubs. Driver is something I’m kind of scared to replace, best club in the bag, best part of my game.

What in the world happened to the bottom?? Not even hating …it’s pretty amazing
Not sure I’d say it’s “older”, but I’ve played this thing continuously for 3 years and have ZERO ideas or thoughts of replacing it
