Your purchase helps support my work in bringing you free content to help you learn about golf and improve your game. My goal is to help people through my experience so I will not recommend a product or service unless I’ve

1) Used it personally. (which will be the case the vast majority of the time)

2) Thoroughly researched it and got first-hand user feedback from other professionals I trust and who have used the product/service.

when I take my setup position right the butt of the club so what you’re about to say sorry I’m cutting you off the butt of the club to say the the top of your shirt buttons or your sternum let’s say that’s between 18 and 20 inches depending on depending on the size of of the golfer Y and we would try to keep that 18 to 20 inches throughout the stroke which helps like you were just saying which helps preserve that radius to help make it easier to control where that club hits the ground so if we had like a string or something attached from the butt of the club to my shirt when you guys are watching this we’re trying to keep that the same basically back and through back and through and the reason we’re doing that or what we see golfers um struggle a lot most golfers would narrow that or shorten the radius on the way back or down or through and they obviously from there you can see how you’d struggle with contact and I think a lot of that goes back to what you’re saying they’re not really sure how their bodies are supposed to work on either side of the ball yeah so the simple version of this obviously we can go into a lot of detail here but the simple version is that your arms are working around you not just staying in front of you on both sides of the ball both sides specifically you know we have this about 20 degrees in just to give you you know a reference and we’re trying to maintain that the width or radius that we started with arms around me maintain that radius
