Yeah, that was a long time ago. But man, coming off the Creator Classic, coming off a lot of um obviously good news for Good. Um been playing great, so this is going to be fun. Little little match play 36 hole action. Yeah. Yeah, we’re excited for it. It’s um Yeah, General Creek, we’re going to play here today and tomorrow. Yep. And um yeah, 36ole match like the final the USM or Oh yeah, we could. Yeah, which I uh I’m 0 for one on that. I got stomped in my 36ole match. Well, I am 0 for one of making the cut at the USM to match. That’s all right. Hey, it’s not that’s not the toughest cup to make. Give me Give me a prediction today for yourself, bro. I was just telling Evan, the last month, DFW usually blows quite a bit of wind. This last month, I have not felt a breath of wind. I’ve been gone a lot, but the days I have been here, have not felt a breath of wind. And now, of course, he comes in town, we’re filming, and it’s blowing. It’s supposed to gust up to 40 today. So, that club could be useful if it doesn’t break. Do you think it’s still usable, Chris? I don’t know if you can see that, but like you can see it kind of peeling off. It’s just like I don’t know. I think if you don’t take it much of a divot, it’ll be fine. But as soon as you get a little steep on one, I hit one the other day and it drew cut drew. Whoa. All right. I think I might just hit it until it breaks. I think that’s going to be the Remind me when you’re hitting it so I can stand away from the box. All right, y score prediction. Um, um, I did junior golf, college golf, pro golf, and pro golf career. Didn’t go the way I wanted to. Now I’m on YouTube, and now I’ve kind of luckily found my game again. So, been playing some pretty good golf, but uh, yeah, excited to be out here. Well, this is not uh not an ideal start. Oh boy, I can even freaking get this. All right, we’re going to be taking a drop. Red hazard here. Um yeah, wind pushed that ball probably about 30 to 40 yards left of where I was aiming. So, we’re going to take a drop here. Hopefully get up and down for par and come out away with a with a half. Uhoh. Man, I’m I’m going to learn quickly today to get it get it low and make good contact. This is going to be Woo. It’s crazy. It’s supposed to get windier as the round goes on. So, that’s fantastic. Um, yeah, we got like 50 yards here. Pretty easy shot now. That’s kind of into the wind, but I got very lucky to be here. I’m very grateful. So, hopefully it’s hit someone close and get a bird to start the round. Go carry. Oh, good hop. Great shot. It’s wild how obviously I wasn’t in all those conversations, but like you can’t just go to the PJ tour and say, “Hey, we want to sponsor your event. Here’s however many dollars and you know, there’s a lot that goes goes on behind the scenes to be able to actually do it.” And you know, Matt Kendrick, CEO, and all those guys done a great job of getting it done. I mean, you know, there’s like a a YouTube golf just a little stigma around it and you know, getting and like good graces with the PJ tour. Having a PJ tour event kind of adds more validity to good good and everything and it’s it’s cool to see. So, we’re we’re pumped for it. But also like you know a lot of people want to see creators play in competition and I think um you know whether you and Sean end up playing in it or whoever you know does it allows people to see that which is like what a lot of people want to see at the end of the day you know. I’m like, yeah, that’s where I was like, okay, we need to make sure we have places where decent greens. Decent greens. That’s the most court thing. If you’re shaking over one footers cuz you might bounce one way or the other the other, then probably not the spot to play for 59. But all right, guys. Provisional ended here. Oh, big kick left. Don’t know how if that’s up there or not, but can’t tell either. Do you feel as though working out, especially lifting heavy, hinders golf quite a bit or no? I mean, I think it can. I think I was getting on like it never really I don’t think it ever hindered me at all, but I think if I had kept going anymore, it probably would have probably would have started got got a little more stiff. A lot more stiff. And then obviously you just can’t be stiff playing golf. Yeah. I think the biggest thing when you lift is to make sure you’re doing mobility and stretching as well. All right. Luckily, it hopped up here on the front side of the green. We got about 40 ft up the hill. Maybe like 30 35 ft up the hill. Let’s just get the two butt birdie. Get out of here. You know, the guys that are just out there forever, it’s like they are just so good consistently. which is obviously like Scotty and Rory like what they do is unbelievable. But like even just being like a Jason Day being on the tour for that long it’s all I mean I think at my best like I could go compete with any of those guys. Yes, but it’s a matter of at my worst. That was the That was the glory in playing uh the the USM is having those spotters cuz uh the rough is so thick. I we we didn’t end up finding that ball. So, had to put one down and going to probably give Brad the hole here. I think I hit mine left uh in these trees. So, and if you want to get mad at Evan for doing that rule, you can get mad at me cuz I told him you could do it. And it’s actually obviously it’s not in like the competit they’re not you can’t do that in the PJ tournament or something, but it’s in the USJ rule book as like a way to play golf for fun and keep the pace. We we had a group behind us on the T- box, so we kind of had to hurry up. So, you can you can get mad at me all you want. I don’t care. All right, I’m going to go first here. in this right green side bunker and uh I think Evan said if I hit this bunker shot good up there close then he’s just going to concede the hole for pace play purposes and all that. He said I’m I’m really right hand dominant in my swing and like he wanted me to be more, you know, kind of like hold cuz I have a little bit of like left elbow bend in my swing. Yeah. And so like when I’m not timing it right or it gets really windy, he said I’ll struggle and Scott, he was right. Yeah. He works with a lot of guys on tour and he says this is what gets me in trouble and I need me more. Yeah, the honor. I got the honor again. Let’s go. Um, number 14, 472 yard par4. Dead into the wind. It’s left of the green and it’s 30 yards short. All right, in the bunker here. This shot’s going to seem kind of crazy, but there’s there’s thought behind it. So, I got to hit a stinger for iron out of this. This lip is not very big, but with the stinger, it is in play. So, I’m going to start it right of the lip. So, that lip’s not in play, and then I’m just going to ride the wind back to the green. Whoa. Oh. All right. Hey, it was worth a shot, though. Yeah, I was just I didn’t want to have to try to hit a high shot out of there back into the wind and didn’t want to mess with that lip. So, I’ll take that. That’s plenty of green to work with. If I had hit a little more solid, it would had a little more spin. probably gotten chewed up by the wind a little more. That’s all right. We got a lot of green to work with. Sadly, everything’s downhill and downwind, so that’s not great. It’s going to be a pretty quick chip once it gets on the green. But just get the par save. Very tough hole. A kicked left. Wow. There’s two more T- boxes back there, but it looks like they just resolded them. So, they are closed currently. It’s usually like a 160 yard hole, but today it’s a little shorter. So, I got pitching a little chippy shot and start it right. Let the wind take it back left and hopefully just goes in the hole. Oh, carry. It’s Wow. I mean, that’s just feel like that was like a three yard draw with no wind and that thing turned like 25 yards. All right, we’re just going to try to finish strong here in this round. That’s what I always try to emphasize no matter how I’m playing. So, four holes left, four opportunities to hit great shots. I got pitching wedge. Try to poke one back there. Oh. Oh, man. So, it’s not make it easy. So, I just got to aim it left. Just trust that the wind’s going to take it back to the right and hit it right over the right edge of this first bunker. Oh, almost fell over, but it works. I don’t know what that balance was. Bomb balance. That thing is moving. That was the worst balance I’ve ever had on a drive. But, well, you are on like a threed slope, I guess. But hey, we’ll take it. Yeah. Good drive. Good drive. Little towy. It works, but it’ll be all right. The bunker in the middle of the fairway is 335 to carry, but it’s it’s like in the middle of the fairway, so you can go either side if you don’t want. All right. Brad just said we could have a wedge into this par five. It’s 560. There’s a bunker right in line with the flag that’s 335 to carry. So, this is the first time we’ve gotten a hole that’s like dead down win. And I’m excited. I’ve been waiting for this all day. I cannot wait to unleash on this drive. So, I’m going right at the bunker. I think if I hit it well and hit it high, I should be able to cover it. But if I pull it or push a little bit, it’ll be in the fairway still.
