howdy y’all David cter here on the Red Bull cliff diving tour in the great state of Texas on posum Kingdom Lake we’ll be competing here over the summer but today I’m here for a different what better way to work on my game than to call it fellow Red Bull athlete and professional golfer Ricky Fowler what’s up Ricky what’s up man thanks for coming out dude wow that’s a pretty impressive outfit there thank you sir I figured I’d dress the part I definitely nailed it so uh all right maybe we’ll hit a few see how it works see we’re done all right if you showed up and did that on the Range first shot it’s like all right we’re done we’re going to the course we go te it up perfect we’ll see if it wasn’t a lucky stroke all right David did uh quite well today on the course I was surprised I had heard a little bit that I wasn’t supposed to expect much definitely exceeded my expectations he stepped up knocked a drive right down the middle the start off the day so knew it was going to be smooth sailing from there that go I mean if you like it straight I guess that’s what you’re supposed to do golf I mean right walking up on the golf range I saw him practicing a few and I mean the guy’s just phenomenal so it’s so cool to work with a fellow Red Bull athlete and some guy that’s so talented and at the elite of his level in that sport yeah we thinking probably 6 hour from here probably 170ish yeah that’ll [Music] work Beauty get [Music] some get there oh it’s there hang on hang on it’s dancing we go get up there all right good one not bad boom there it is maybe just inside the hole and you can go ahead and be aggressive with it okay nice golf’s done golf’s done you want to check out some Cliffs might as well we’re here right let’s do it let’s do it let’s suit up [Music] yeah Ricky so we’re coming up on Hell’s Gate here I mean as far as natural setups go it’s like a dream come true for us I hear the takeoff area is pretty flat and it’s right at about 90 ft which is where we compete from so I mean it’s it’s Prime jumping location if you’re feeling strong yeah I mean uh we might uh maybe I’ll start a little lower baby steps first we’ll work up to it I like that I like that’s a that’s a smart plan show me how you would go in the water if you’re going to go in on your hands I just go heads first head first going to Spirit oh kind of nice you almost you almost got it actually yeah you know just learning the basics and and learning how to dive and enter the water and it was fun nice to get some some good pointers and work on my diving technique and see if I can take my diving career to the next level the hand grabbing the hollow line here right there there it is yeah squeeze the core hips rolled under that’s beautiful those lines tight lines look great oh beautiful dude from from waist up you look like you’ve been diving for 10 years just so you had a little frog leg Loosey Goosey on the bottom half but otherwise it’s beautiful nice job dude getting there heck yeah when you come off really squeeze those legs together and point your toes and you’ll have a beautiful line all right I’d say you got it how feel yeah no it was good definitely uh I got some stuff to work on okay you might have to HP in show me a little something I think I can do that I’m going from a few feet versus these guys doing cliff diving at you 90 plus feet there’s a lot more going on it’s it’s a whole different story stepping off the golf course with Ricky and and coming over to the cliffs here was super cool and then just giving a couple pointers he really Dove right in and and just took it took it to himself and he really did a great job I mean I would compare my golf game to his diving we were really like pretty much on par oh [Music]
