You tell me does taylormade have a valid claim against costco or not?

Tailor-Made has officially sued Costco, and here’s all the tea on that while we test out a Tailor- made tour stripe ball. Costco is quickly becoming the queen of lawsuits in golf when it comes to patent infringement. But for the first time ever, they’re not being sued for their golf balls. Instead, they’re being sued for their new Kirkland golf irons that have come out. When pictures first surfaced of these irons, everyone said, “Oh, wow. It does kind of look like a Tailor Made P790, which is one of Tailormaid’s most popular irons that they put out.” And a quick note on the sweet spot check for the Tailor- made tour stripe ball. You can see that the sweet spot line actually goes perpendicular to the alignment line on it, which is good for some things and bad for others. And back to this lawsuit. Now, Tailor Made sells their P790 irons for about $1,200, but Kirkland’s selling their Kirkland irons at $4.99, which is a crazy discount on something that might actually just be a P790 iron. And this is what they look like. So, you tell me if you think this is patent infringement or not. But a whole other part of this thing is the actual technology in the head. Now, the P790 irons have their speed foam in there, and Costco advertises theirs to be injected urethane. Tailor Made did some tests and is claiming that that is false advertising and is coming at them on 11 accounts of patent infringement. And that’s all that’s out there so far. So, I’ll keep you guys updated on this lawsuit.

You can spin a golf ball on any plane and as long as it is a centered golf ball the line will change according to gravity…so if you re-spin that ball at a different point it will create yet another line…so the sweet spot as you call it will change try it with a different color sharpie and set the ball at a new point
They sound like Nintendo, greedy crybabies looking for anyway to steal money from others
Didn’t this happen a while ago?
lol Taylor still trying to gatekeep golf
Wait why is it “queen” of lawsuits
Tm wants to keep the price of admission as high as possible, im interested in Costco clubs, also Wilson makes some great irons that are about half the price of Tm
Ugh. Fingernails
"Sweet spot" nonsense!!!
I'm never for gatekeeping but you have to admit, it almost looks like the Costco marketing department copied that breakdown picture and just changed the colours on purpose to start a fight. It's almost identical!
Maybe soak those nails before showing your hands the entire video – its like the Constanza of Nails. : )
Did your channel get hacked or taken down?
This lawsuit happened like 2yrs ago and those same irons are now back on Costco's site. On sale even as of this comment.
I'm not sure why you would post something 'now' about something old….🤷🏻
TM is using old Maxfli patents to build their balls anyway so just play Maxfli and save the money. The Straightfli and Softfli balls are pretty decent
Old, and Taylormade lost.
They look similar but aren’t exact Taylor made Won’t win.
Corporate greed all clubs are disgustingly over priced in bought the wedge set for 200 bucks hahaha taylormade you can keep your overpriced clubs
This was in Feb 2024.
Your nails look like shit!
Respect for saying “whole other” instead of “whole nother”.
I‘d be interested in the inside of the Temu P790 clones. Are they so similar as well? Has any YouTuber ever looked inside?
Nice nails 😂
Great value and very good-looking iron.
