ABILENE – Abilene Christian women’s golf signed Kaylee Yuan as part of its Class of 2026, head coach Rob Bennett announced Wednesday.
A native of Joshua, Texas, Yuan ranks 359th in the Rolex American Junior Golf Association rankings, landing in 27th in Texas and 106th in the class of 2026. She is the sixth-ranked Texan in the class of 2026. Yuan captured the title at the 97th Texas Junior Amateur in 2023 and at the Legends Junior Tour Spring Championship earlier this year.
“I am very excited to add Kaylee to our program!” Bennett said. “She has the consistent type of game we like here at ACU. She is always in control and in the fight, and those characteristics will translate well to the college game for her. She has such a fun personality and will fit right in with our team. I am looking forward to having Kaylee on campus next fall!”
Yuan was named both the All-American Tour Player of the Year and Legends Junior Tour Player of the Year in 2023. She tied for fourth place at the 99th Texas Junior Amateur this past summer while drawing for 13th at the 2025 North and South Junior Amateur.
Yuan has recorded top-five individual placements at each of the past two UIL Girls’ Golf State Tournaments with Joshua High School. She logged a 71-74 at the 2024 State Tournament to tie for fifth and fired a 73-72 this past spring to land in fifth place.
Yuan tied for eighth place at the 2025 AJGA Northwest Arkansas Junior presented by Discover Bella Vista and took fourth at the TJGT The 54 Showdown at Lantana this past summer. She also landed in fourth place at the C.T. Pan Junior Championship in 2024.
