Motocaddy, the world’s leading electric buggy brand will support one of Australia’s most recognised charity golf events, engaging with golfers across the country via dedicated campaign activity, product donations, and on-course visibility throughout the 2025 event. The initiative perfectly aligns with the brand’s commitment to health, well-being, and the golfing community.
“We’re incredibly proud to support Cancer Council’s The Longest Day to help raise awareness for what is such an important topic in our country,” said Catherine Arkoudis, Motocaddy Australia, Operations Director. “With two in three Australians diagnosed with some form of skin cancer in their lifetime, this initiative aligns perfectly with our brand values and our commitment to supporting the golfing community both on and off the course,” she added.
The Longest Day challenges golfers across Australia to test skill, strength and stamina by playing 36, 54, or 72 holes in a single day. Participants raise funds to help Cancer Council continue its mission to improve cancer outcomes through research, education, and advocacy. While the official Longest Day is the 10th of November, golfers can take part anytime in November or December.
As the nation’s leading non-profit cancer charity, Cancer Council is dedicated to supporting Australians impacted by cancer, funding cutting-edge research, and driving awareness around prevention, particularly in relation to skin cancer, which remains one of the most significant health issues in the country.
“Tackling cancer takes all of us, and The Longest Day golf challenge raises funds for breakthrough cancer research, prevention programs and support services for the thousands of families affected by cancer each year in Australia,” said Noami Watson, Director of Marketing and Fundraising Cancer Council NSW. “This year, Cancer Council hopes to raise over AU$3 million nationally. All of us will be affected by cancer, by working together, we can all play a part in reducing the impact of cancer for all Australians,” she added.
