Coming out to the mound making his third start of the year and boy, did he finish strong here last year in 35. Er, a in the 4 September starts at Wrigley Field. It is frigidly cold here in Chicago, the Rangers offense wasn’t exactly hot coming in. They have the fewest hits through 11 games in franchise history. 61 and fewest by 11. Here comes the Oanda Simeon fly ball left center playable hap. Converging with C Armstrong and Hap and Pro Armstrong almost collide hap reaches up and pulls it down a couple of times now that there’s been a near miss out there so hopefully they can clean that up. Seeger in the air. Shallow left wants it out in dance makes the catch. Here’s Langford swing and a Miss Langford is out and so are the Rangers 123 for title on the mound. Patrick Corbin for the Texas Rangers making his first start of the season 35 years old. Now in his 13th year in the big leagues recent season, it’s been a rough go for the veteran lefty. He’s pitching Jack lighter spot who’s on the A L with A blister. Ian Hemp leads it off this one in the air back of second base and going back on it is Simon and he makes the catch Seeger was out there with him. This is similar to the first play the Cubs made. I know it’s two different people but shortstop second baseman come together and plays made by Simon say Suzuki stands in line drive and that’s out of the left center field base, hit one handed swing there from sea just a flick of the wrist. He delivers that line drive to left Kyle Tucker, the hitter, he’s had a terrific start with his new team and he got underneath this one out to right field. Garcia makes the catch two away. Now it’s Justin Turner who has had very good success against Patrick Corbin 405 42 official at bats and that’s out to center field but right to Taveras and the inning is over. Nice job by Corbin Peterson leading it off the DH on the ground diving stop by gets a great play. Niko Horner. Those are some hands right there. Good range, good hands up from the belly next pitch. This one lined out to right field by Garcia and so the Rangers have their first hit their first baserunner tonight. Good job by garcia going the other way and you just think about if Horner doesn’t make that play, it’s 1st and 3rd and nobody out and running again. The pitch is high, that’s ball four, so a single and a walk and now the Rangers in a pretty decent spot here. A couple of men on one out. Great to have this man back though, Josh Young and coming up in a spot here where he can do some damage his turn to the lineup today and the first pitch he sees is tapped to the mound knocked down by Ty, but he can’t field it cleanly. That’s going to sit to the third base side of the mound and end up as an infield hit for Josh Young, not how young had it written up, but he’ll take it. And so will the Rangers. So we’ve reached the first potentially significant moment of the game bases loaded one down. Second inning Jonah Heim. Now that ball hit hard to right , that’s a base hit garcia. Here comes smith, he’ll score Young heads to third. He’s in there and Jonah, he drives in the first two runs of the night. Great two strike hitting right here. He gets a pitch that he can handle. It looks like a cutter. It just doesn’t cut enough. Jonah goes out and gets it scores two and josh Young, a great job of running right there from first base getting to third. Leoti Tare is the batter and the first pitch on the way high fly ball right side fouled might be playable for either Horner or Turner and Turner makes the catch right over near the railing at the far end of the first base dugout. Nice play by Turner for second out two, two pitch on the way to Simeon pop fly right side. Very playable for Turner. The first baseman in foul territory makes the catch to end the inning, but the Rangers scored twice and B Swanson will lead off the second inning. Let’s see if the Cubs can answer right back, left that one back on its way home run. Dansby Swanson and Swanson with his fourth home run. Nice to see that power from the Cubs shortstop. Dansby gets this little cutter up in the zone and hammers this ball down the line for a long home run. What nice swing by Dansby, Pete Crow Armstrong and that one hit up the middle Seager couldn’t flag it down. That will be a base hit Pete Armstrong at first base and you know he’s going to be running Cubs ran at will yesterday. I would expect Pete Armstrong to take off here soon. That showing the batter there goes the runner that’s outside, throw down to second. No shot into center PC A racing for third. He’s five for five in the stolen base department way outside. He walked him 1st and 3rd and that is high ball four. So back to back walks to the 8th and 9th place hitters in the lineup, bags loaded with one away the in HP down his first time, 21 that’s a short caught by, see what a play just enough to get up and get that little snow cone appropriately tonight. It’s up to say this is a good matchup for Suzuki single. His first A B line drive left field base hit coming in is PC A shaw on his heels and it’s a two run single for sea Suzuki just like that. The Cubs have the lead big swing of the bat for Sea and the Cubs , he does get something inside, say gets the head of the bat out to it. It hooks this ball down the left field line, two run single for Suzuki. Second hit of the ballgame for Sea White Langford. Now Scott just 23 years old, good looking young player and that ball swung on that’s belted deep out to left and that one is gone. Langford into the bleachers and left and he’s tied this game at three. Wyatt Langford with his fourth home run of the season. Ty leaves the slider up here over the inner half of the plate and Langford barreled it up. That’s a man that’s easily halfway up that section. That was a big time mistake and Wyatt Langford did not miss Josh Young now, one for one tonight in his return, he has four hits and eight at bats already swing and a miss struck him out strike out of the night for Jamison. Comes on the sweeper swing and a Miss Ty gets time 123 for Ty. We go to the bottom of the fourth heat. Crow Armstrong will try to crank up a Cubs rally on the ground to the right side. Smith up with it. Throw gets away. Got to be a two for two. He Crow Armstrong to the move and he dives in and he’s got another stolen base his second of the night and the Cubs now on the season are 23 of 20 catcher’s nightmare right there. That guy gets on base with an RB I opportunity here. A runner at second two down one pitch. Bouncer. Third base young, very sure handed gloves throws and gets the final out of the inning, no runs despite the leadoff single man on the mound for the Rangers to begin the bottom of the fifth inning, Jacob Webb, a right hander and he starts off Sea Suzuki drive out of the right center field. That’s a base hit is three for three. So now an opportunity for kyle Tucker line drive and that’s a base hit into right center field. He’s now been on base 13 straight games. The Cubs have two men on nobody out with Turner at the plate line drive base hit right field and they will hold Suzuki at third. So three straight hits and they are loaded up for Dansby Swanson , a chance a golden opportunity for the Cubs 1 to 1 swing and a fly ball center field going back is taveras tagging at third Suzuki coming in to score. Tucker will advance racing down to second is Turner and he dives in. It’s a sack fly and it’s 4 to 3 and Nikko Horner will stand in. He’s zero for two swing and a line drive that’s a base hit into center and that’s going to score both of them. How about Niko Horner RB I single and the Cubs enjoying a 6 to 3 lead. The hits keep coming for the Cubs. A broken bat base hit here. Tip number nine for the Cubs tonight. Eight singles and a homer Jamison Ty with the lead. Now Wyatt Langford leads on that’s pulled right down the line for extra bases. Lankford’s fast. He takes an aggressive turn around first hustling to second and he is just in there with a leadoff double Peterson swings and misses. He got fooled on maybe the best breaking ball that Tayon has thrown tonight. Swing and a Miss smith is gone with the punch out six strong innings tonight from Big Jamison Tao Suzuki with a perfect night. He had singled three times and now he draws a walk. Tucker coming up to the left center field that’s pretty well struck and Then a touchdown bang up against the wall. Tucker is into second. They’ll hold up. Suzuki kyle Tucker stayed hot. I’m running out of words to describe this guy just incredible what he’s doing and that’s up and ball four, they’re loaded chance to bust this wide open right here. There was a swing and a drive out to center field to vass angling back and he’ll make the catch Cubs loaded him up, but they leave them loaded. Julian Merryweather is a new pitcher for Chicago first pitch and that’s pulled right down the line for a fair ball and extra bases for Young. He pedals to second base and he has two hits tonight. So it’s great to have Josh Young back in the lineup. Welcome back, Young cat. I’ll be up to Leo. He goes after the first pitch, sends it down the left field line. That one drops in fair ball and it takes a wild hop over half. Young is in Tavares has great speed. He’s to third and they’ll stop him there, an RB I triple and it’s six to four. Leoti with the huge hit drives in the run here and this ball cuts right down the third base line stays fair and takes the big hot which turns the double into a triple and now Marcus Semien and there’s a bouncing ball right side. It will get the run home corner throws over to first. They get Marquez but he picks up the RB I and it’s a one run game 6 to 5 to score. We go to the eighth inning. It’s a nail biter. Hodge got that final last inning and stays in the batter. Now will be josh smith. Here’s the 2 to 2 chopped to third birdie to his right. He’s got it sets and throws safe at first base is josh smith and the Rangers have a baserunner in the eighth inning. Young. The batter and he shoots that one out to right field Tucker toward the line and he doesn’t get it. It drops in fair ball Smith around third. They still haven’t found the baseball smith scores to tie it and Young all the way to third. What a stroke of luck for the Rangers. That’s a tough play for Tucker and the Rangers have tied it in the eighth. Welcome back, Josh Young. Now the go ahead run is at third Rangers trying to pull off a miracle tonight. Here comes stuck here man, but the Rangers tie things up. Chris Mart-n, the former Cub will take over the big right hander has pitched six times already drills one out towards right center field garcia is there. It’s over his head and happened to second and that’s just a whiff. What a huge break for the Cubs. They call that a two base error and an opportunity for say Suzuki and that’s strike three called Suzuki down looking one away and now Tucker intentionally walked, take the bat out of his hand. That is a no brainer. And now John Berdy who had just come in to play third base bouncer, third base and it’s off of young Seeger is there to back it up the bases are loaded, just handcuffs young. Luckily he does get a glove on it here and it slows it down. So, Seeger can back it up and doesn’t allow the go ahead run to score. But a little bit of a tough inning defensively for the Rangers here. Dan. He’s been up with the bases loaded now, three times line drive slicing into right field base hit in to score Tucker on his heels. Dansby Swamps and delivers 86 cubs in the eighth two aboard. One out. Here comes, they go. The runners pitches in there for called strike three and on the double steal, it is successful two more bags for the Cubs and Niko Horner strikes out for just the second time this year. And so here comes Bruce Boch looks like he will bring in Hoby Millner to face Pete Crow Armstrong. So Mart-n Dunn hurt by two errors behind him. He’s at third. Swanson is at second base hit left field swats in around third throw to the plate is cut off and now in a rundown and being tagged out is Pete Roe Armstrong , but he picks up a couple of RBIs so the Cubs have broken it open. A very unusual eighth inning, two runs scored on the play. We’re going to go to the ninth inning Cubs on top 10 to six. Ryan Pressley ninth inning man for the Cubs. 0 to 2 rangers down to their final strike on the ground horner to bush Cubs win and the Cubs red hot as they improved to nine and five.

LMAO… Rangers are an indoor team now. Chicago is used to playing extremely cold weather. You can see pitchers were struggling big time. Come home Ranger, lets get back to winning again!
Please stop switching between the team's broadcasts for each highlight. The play gets spoiled because we know the highlighted team's graphics are shown
dansby Playing well good sign
Don’t think I’ll ever get over the fact the Mets gave up PCA for Javy Baez smh
I LOVE this baserunning!
As a Rangers fan watching these past 2 games… Cubs are very dangerous & very quick with all movement / all around! I was impressed & upset with the end result 😂💯 Go Rangers tho!!!

After I was done watching this game I went to go watch the stars game and saw they just scored an empty net goal. My thoughts: “At least the stars are gonna win”…💀

Man, the cubs need every win we can get right now. We have a tough schedule. We got the dodgers next, then the Padres, then the diamond backs, then dodgers again, then Philly
Still confident in our athletes. Baseball at Waterloo three days in a row is wild; our men are training like super saiyans at this point. Go, RANGERS! ❤️🔥
goddamn suzuki batting hot
The bad and hateful comments for Leody and Adolis are bad luck for the Rangers.
Shut up Zach. Just shut up.
When there are men on base, the Ranger pitchers might as well pitch from the wind-up instead of the stretch.
im from new york im 16 years old and im a yankees fan but i think im starting to like the texas rangers
Maybe it's just me, but every game this season is thrilling and offers us MAJOR league baseball. The weather is nuts, but the players don't disappoint. Go, MLB!
Go Texas Ranger ❤
Can Josh Smith just bat lead off already
I like Leody but he’s gotta catch that ball in the 8th
This cubs team is reminding me of the 2016 cubs power and speed and pitching
Bog Shambi's voice gave me cancer.
Cubs Series Lead 1-0
Cubs Series Lead 2-0
Cubs Series Lead 2-1
