Phil is a [ __ ] I’m And I hate it because I became obsessed with golf like most of us because of Tiger Woods. Um, but I never was anti- Phil. It wasn’t like a Tiger or Phil thing for me. I always loved Phil. And to be frank, the last 10 years, let’s call it before like 2023, 2022 time frame, Phil was trending to be he was our Arnold Palmer, right? And then like after the 21 PGA and you think he’s going to go into announcing and hybrid playing and this, you want to talk about jumping the shark, dude. This guy, every time he opens his mouth now, it is the most ludicrous, nonsensical [ __ ] Um, I don’t know if you saw his comments before the Liv finale this week. The players experience. I used to have anxiousness going to a tour event and uh with with all the the details and things that would would go on and live event. I can’t wait to get here. I can’t I I come earlier. I I I I can’t wait to get here. Uh the experience from a player standpoint is um it’s it’s better than I could have ever imagined. Like yeah, dude, when I tee it up for an amateur qualifier, I feel terrible. That’s called real competitive golf. when I go to my Wednesday men’s group or we play in a twoman scramble and I’m throwing them back like yeah it’s it’s awesome. I just hate it’s just like what the [ __ ] man like it’s just like we lost a legend and it’s just sad.

He didn't mention anything about the nerves of playing the round. He was talking about the experience of playing on the different tours. They treat their players better from his point of view. (1) He won on the PGA Tour as an AMATEUR!
(2) He won a MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIP in his FIFTIES!
And, if he’d had a better caddie in the first twenty years of his career, he would definitely have won more majors.
