When I saw this port on the jailbird I new it was destined to be filled out with cotton balls

Using cotton to fill out the inside of any golf club can help to dampen the feel and mute the sound slightly which was a trick that pros used to do back in the day with probably some of them still doing now

The good thing about it over using something like holt melt is that depending on where the port on the head is, it can usually be removed quite easily and it is obviously easy to get hold of while being cheap as well
